This dev could have been the chosen one. They could have been the one to do truly total downward spiral corruption of a super cute girl from total innocence into the most depraved hedonism. And in a slow burn suspenseful somewhat believable way. In the beginning that's what it looked like this game would be. But somewhere along the way it changed to the kinkiest thing happening here is the fact that girl is the MC's daughter and it stopped there. The corruption petal mechanic being tossed out the window is oddly symbolic because the corruption really did stop right there where it is. Its like a church group got the dev's ear and they're the only people he can hear.

With all due respect, I think you're misrepresenting a lot of what's going on here. I think there is some justifiable disappointment that story development that was suggested in the original tags and more importantly in both storyline and the walkthrough since chapter one are just being tossed aside for reasons that don't seem entirely clear.
I'll restate that I don't see what the big deal is with including something like sharing (which to me is not the same as NTR due to the fact that one involves informed consent while the other doesn't) if the audience has the choice to opt out of those scenes. Why do people feel the need to burn down the local pizza place for offering pineapple on pizza? Just don't get it on yours.
Some time was definitely put in to the characters of Martin and Ryan to set up scenes that a player might want to choose (or not). That particular corruption petal was suggested from before chapter one was even done, and now that the story is approaching its conclusion it seems a bit cheap to just chuck it out the window and try to pretend it wasn't really ever there.
So to me, the issue isn't an NTR issue; it's an issue of what the project was portrayed as at the beginning and how the story has developed to date versus the latest announcement of how the story will progress from this point forward. I'm much less bothered by the prospect of MMF or no MMF in general than I am about the story becoming disjointed and nonsensical for reasons that aren't entirely clear. Martin and Ryan have been set up as interesting characters who have piqued D's interest, so it only seems fair to give players the choice to have D explore those pathways if the player wants her to.
Nobody's forcing anyone to play a scene they don't want to play . . . it's one thing I've always really liked about how the Dots team set up the game.
Tis a talent, I just proffered a solicitation nothing more.

TBH I was pretty pissed yesterday when I heard the news from Mr D, I was a long time PATREON from part 7 to part 20, I stayed firm after the incest purge on Patreon but got bored with it, I hated melody and tried SL but they're not my cup o'tea full of unnescessary dialogue and far far too vanilla, if I'm honest I could probs see this coming although it is still a blow. I think the MC is a fucking jerk TBF, his dialogue is very heavily misoginistic and belitting, I'd wish it luck but I won't
I'm fine with them ditching NTR, but that would be a real kick in the pants if we never get at least one DP scene.
Chapter 1 question: Between Richard and Georgina, whose photoshoot has more h-scenes? Also, is there a reason plot or relationship-wise why I should choose one over the other?

Let's repeat for people in the back row: this is not about NTR but about MMF sharing that was promised, built up and even started in that direction for three chapters. It's also about D having more independent growth and direction instead of being a slave to the MC's massive shlong - she was supposed to be more independent in her ability to choose career direction, social life, sex life, etc. with their relationship in mind.
People came in here with the same, repeated reactions to this about-face, feeling not only deceived at the latest retcon announcement, but wondering just why the hell MrDots' team seems to have gone listless on this game. The direction of this game was already waiting for something more definitive, but now that seems to be going back to the start of Chapter 3 with the added element of MC having sex with other women in front of D, for a change.
There are more patrons in this thread than you may realize. Some of us about to become ex-patrons (e.g., I'm giving it a couple days before deciding).
Nothing we can't do about this in the end of the road this is a business for them they are getting good support and money for making pro vanilla stuffs so why they will put hands on topics that can hurt there support. it's only money. And vanilla content gives developer money. If you take out T4bbo (developer of babysitter) all the other top developer are afraid of showing scenes involving other males in there game. this shows there is no space for our liking content.
It's all over for now. dev has already said SL is going to be pro harem game all girls running for 1 cock. thought after so much teasing finally we can see Martin in mmf with D in chapter 4 but before it could happen dev has closed that window and just gave 1 revision update for MMF not event a full update. so DMD too is now all girls running for 1 cock. that's a shame

It's basic buisness sense, if there are more people who enjoy vanilla content than specific fetish, you can't blame the devs for tailoring their product to be the best commercial success in this niche genre.
Don't get me wrong it would be good for a wider range of content to tailor for all tastes in their games. However more scenes equal more time which is more money. Not to mention some content may cause further issues with being on Patreon (etc) which makes the entire work vastly more stressful.
You literally cannot make everyone happy as people love to complain, at least they have been clear and up front with their plans now rather than stringing people along hoping for content that will never come. If you have lost interest because your particular kink/dream isnt included then vote with your wallet and do not donate anymore. However if despite the disapointment you still will enjoy it then maybe revise your donation level or continue as normal.
Regardless of if you agree or disagree with their plans for chapter 4, you cannot fault the communication of the dev. It would be great if most others had the same communication skills and regular update schedule. Way to easy to focus on the negatives instead of the many positives, do bear that in mind people.

so then from the start dev must have been cleared and not include MMF if abandoning was the plan. this game should have been a full vanilla from the start with no martin and no other male should have been in the game. the problem is they said it's MMF is happening happening and when it could happen then the END . the reason they gave for ending mmf was MMF is not there original plan. so thing that was not there original plan why include then giving hopes then breaking it.
