If the D & F were the only characters in the story and if this was a standard 'fap' game then I would probably agree with you. As there are a number of other characters that have had sex in that same in-game time then I don't think its that uncommon for a story-line about two particular people building a relationship and discovering the sexual component of such.

As the situations generally found in most porn (of any type) are not 'normal' (statistically speaking) there is almost always a need to suspend disbelief to some extent when viewing/interacting with it.

Also, quick note. There are 18 'flower petals' on D's corruption level graphic, so you have six more levels to speculate on, assuming that Mr. Dots doesn't go for a 'second lap' with the flower petals.
