it's slightly slower like 10% slower but it doesn't stop or get interrupted and it also downloads the whole thing in one go.

Good update, looking forward to the next one. As to Rachel's motivation, she is def a control freak. It has been spoken of several times in conversations between the daughter and Elena. Daughter has told about how Rachel never brings her along with Brad when they go on vacations/trips/to the beach. Rachel pushed her towards Frank (daughters 'boyfriend') primarily because it'll help Brad with a business deal. Given the dialogue about the "sex talk" between F/D in this update we can assume Rachel never spoke to D about that kind of thing, To me at least that implies a desire on Rachel's part to keep the D naïve and easily manipulated.

Wouldn't surprise me if in next update Rachel is in for a shock when she find's D isn't the meek, easily controlled little girl she was when she left. F and Elena have both done a lot in various ways to boost the D's confidence. Also according to Rachel at least the F was a coward, so she's gambling that he'll just accept the situation and won't fight back. She'd definitely be wrong footed if he showed up. I suspect since Rachel would likely prevent D contacting F that, when she finds out about it Elena will inform him what's going on and he'll hop on a plane.

There are plenty of extremely self centered bitchy mothers like Rachel IRL. There are a handful of unconvincted rapists IRL. I dont understand the gripe about "cartoonish villains".

F/D pure dad is definitely not a dick. There is unconditional love most definitely. Turning that into a romantic and physically intimate relationship is taboo and shouldnt be pursued for a number of reasons thats for sure. But he is a flawed human being, his daughter is a knockout (who he didnt raise), and she is innocent, virgin, naive at 18 which is rare today. Hey its a romance story that breaks taboos.

Incest is fundamentally flawed. God forbid if they get serious and have a long term romantic relationship and end up breaking up. Can you imagine having your dad (or mom) as an ex? Having children should be out of the question. Daughter should be encouraged to date someone her own age, who she doesnt have to hide or feel ashamed with, who she has a possibility of making babies with without a 25% chance for retardation or whatever the health risks are with incest...

The right thing to do would be to stop the boyfriend charade, but I think we can all understand the temptation and how hard that would be in this situation. The romantic in me enjoys the connection and I can understand the unconditional love from F/D turning into a cheesy romance love type thing.

Personally I have had a true love experience twice when I was a teen. It might be possible now as an adult, but adults are so jaded from day to day concerns like paying bills and working and whatnot. We dont trust or let our guards down as easy, and our sense of wonder, our imagination is blunted.

With the F/D unconditional love being a thing, taking it a step further by adding physical intimacy is a way to cheat the system if you didnt commit to your high school girl friend. This situation is a perfect storm of daughter not being raised by father and meeting all the naive criteria.

Now the harem playthrough dad is most certainly a dick and mom probably has a good reason for doing what she is doing.

Agree. It's also worth noticing that it all happens during like 13 days which means in real life he would be unable to change his character at all in such a short period of time. Some of the scenes I will concede are manipulation. The boob massage thing he literally told some story about how it was strictly professional, she hesitantly went for it and then he sighed relief to himself and was glad she "bought it".

Contradictory to that, a consistent plot theme has been father struggling with this, dealing with guilt, and seriously wondering if he should call it off.

While father is most certainly in the wrong, he is a flawed human being and has a 10/10 innocent knockout falling in love with him...

I believe daughter being naive was common back in the 50s. Today at 18 its uncommon to find a virgin and extremely rare to find an innocent naive virgin. I dont think she is "developmentally challenged" just unique. In the plot its explained as she was picked on for being a nerd and was physically underdeveloped until a year or two ago. Also she went to a strict all girls religious school. Her best friend is wild but respects her shyness.

Having been in high school puppy love twice, I can say as a certainty 13 days is more then enough to develop a true love relationship. I cant say exactly how or why, but it was more physical then verbal. Gaze into eyes, two people just clicking and then being adjoined at the hip. Spending all the time they could with eachother. Couldnt keep hands off eachother, ect.

Yep it happened to me twice. Father is actually moving at a snails pace compared to how quickly some of my younger loves developed. 13 days into the relationship and we both thought we found the one.

The fact that it didnt last you could make a case that it wasnt real or whatever. It was definitely real, I just didnt want to commit at such a young age. I dont think that kind of love will be an option today. God only knows how many dicks a 28 year old has taken and her hearts already been used and broken if she had any spirit for romance.

I am assuming this is what you meant.. Because the father could have been a decent guy before daughter came around, this information is unknown. Father had no need to change his own personal character in 13 days, because we dont know what his character was.

Under normal circumstances that would lead to F getting fired. But remember Georgina has the hot's for F, and she knows and has proof that Martin and Maria are fucking. I think someway she'll learn about the situation (at least some of it) and use the evidence to blackmail Maria into letting F go after D and keep his job.

This week is the most important week of the year for us, but I am in the middle of a dire family emergency. I am leaving for X country, and will return as soon as the conflict is resolved. You know how important this job is to me, and I understand that you cant have your employees abandon work during this time. Under any other circumstance I would be there giving my full effort. My hope is that this wont cost me my job, but if it does so be it. I am a man and will deal with whatever fallout when I return. I hope it will be a day or two at the most, I will keep you posted."

With the storm delay he will probably be able to give notice in person though. I imagine that is a good way to connect the georgina and non georgina playthroughs. If georgina you get an extra scene with her before you go and perhaps your idea.

Unfortunately, you need to make sure D went and took the self defense class. At some point you turned down that option.
