I've read a lot of posts worried about what's gonna happen next because of the cliffhanger at the and of v. 0.13 (didn't read them all so I may have missed the more optimistic ones); for me, I think that D's plane will be forced to come back due to the storm; take off was only 10 minutes ago so it seems safer to come back rather than continue to fly in a storm (well... it depends on the direction of the storm, I guess...); if so, no need to go to this "foreign" country and look everywhere to try and find D, and the story can continue to progess at its usual slow but (IMO) very good pace

You have to have accepted the offer of self defence classes earlier in the game. Here is a save towards the end of "day 12" that will help. You change the character names by clicking on the daughters portrait in the top right corner.
