Actually, in one scene in chapter 1, Elena and Jennifer are talking about someone in porn who has pubic hair and how disgusting it is and how they shave it all off.

Really fine catch. I had immediately spotted that at the time [I save plenty of "ammo" to be potentially used in future]. You're the 1st poster to actually mention it.
In North America, at least, no person under 21 is even allowed inside the front door of a casino or anywhere near the gambling areas.

EU - to the best of my knowledge- 18+ is fine. Even Canada already allows 18+.

That said, it's pretty pointless - it's explicitly stated that she's 18. She thinks she has full rights. Story goes "nope, you go back with me now." It's fictional. Whatever works for the story goes, as long as it is consistent (enough).

DMD is not consistent enough to qualify as good fiction. Good fiction resembles a master juggler--a writer uses story details rather than objects. DMD does have scattered bits of good writing but I get the distinct impression that "good writing" is very much a minor ingredient for the dev-team.
DMD really is part of a specific porn genre. Within that genre, it IS consistent enough (there are many, many worse games in this regard). To compare it to other similar games makes the most sense.[/QUOTE]

I’m hoping that the lessons learned by MrDots and the design team on this one will translate over to the next project (sometime in 2020 I would expect) - because there is a drive to do some good fiction that would require a stronger concept and outline drafters before the first electrons start hitting the first render. — have no idea what that next project will be, however.

It doesn't help matters when MC first rejects going to the police while in hospital. Then later when Martin offers his help with the Lucas problem, MC rejects Martin's offer and elects to go to the police. That could be a confusing turn of events, especially for habitual button mashers.

I have to agree on that, this decision should say that you are going to take D to self defense classes if you go to the police

There is just too much dialogue. I am all for the story based games and not just fapping marathon, but this one overdo it. I think i clicked million times just going through dialogues...

There is just too much dialogue. I am all for the story based games and not just fapping marathon, but this one overdo it. I think i clicked million times just going through dialogues...

So then this is absolutely not your game. But two comments to this.
1. I think the amount of text is very appropriate There're games with much more text while offering much less content (Lots of talking but saying nothing)
2. You can skip unseen content (can adjust in preferences). There's even a key that skips forwar to next decision player has to make But that seems pointless because DmD isn't about quick sex scenes ...
