How much more dangerous? The MC, a stranger in town, is cruising repeatedly near an all-girls school. He is taking D to hotels, libraries, restaurants, spas, and hanging around (one time literally!) D's home.
According to Jeff--the DMD lawyer, not OUR JS--Brad is a very big deal in town. Yet, the MC is totally heedless of any dangers. Surely, many townspeople would know D on sight. Gossip gets passed from ear to ear and finally reaches--Rachel!

Thought the same thing all along, unreal as all hell. But WTF , ya just get into the story.
