Well, back when they announced the final update of DMD, they said this:
So until such time as they say this isn't happening anymore, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

So far, we are working mostly soley on Thief of Hearts.
It's the most important to get new content out, which will help us to get enough supporters to keep our bills paid, rather than wasting time and ressources into already completed content just to get that more polished / revamped.
We even don't know whether we will manage to get the final 3 scenes for DMD fantasy scenes done within the next 4 weeks (as we really hoped to do), but it will be done - promise.
So a revamp of DMD is not impossible, but VERY unlikely to be done in short- or even mid-term.
We also have already some things in mind for the future after ToH, but these are (at least for now) just thoughts, which i will not get into any details. It all depends mostly on how support is gonna be.
Dee is NOT forgotten and may or may not return in future - but before anyone keeps up false hopes or even dares to quote and pin me down on this, let me CLEARY tell you:
There will be NO sequel for DMD (with Dad or Martin at least) which continues directly the story of DMD.

Totally understand your need to get fresh content out in order to keep the lights on and food in the belly. Was just looking for a sliver of hope that the revamp wasn't completely dead and forgotten. Not that I don't love this game as it is, because I do, it's just that I do like the thought of playing it again, especially the earlier chapters, with renders and animations close to the quality you're producing now as well as the thought of some new stuff sprinkled in too.
Obviously I'm not expecting it anytime soon and I know there will not be any new games featuring her, but as long as this teased revamp is out before we all die horribly in a global nuclear war, that'll be fine by me

We ALL love Dee, and MrDots himself is in love with her, as she has been his first creation and he was the one who invented that model. She is a Morph from different assets and not a common asset to buy. All other "Dee's" out there are just a rip-off and a copy.
So be assured that we can't and we will not forget about Dee in general, but most likely not the way you might expect or think of. And by that, i already have said way too much for the time being
