First off I don't drink and won't drink due to that my father and both grandfathers were alcoholics. Second issue I do have a disorder... Aspergers. So there's that. 3rdly Since of my disorder I take meds that don't mix well with other forms of chemicals and such and due to my family history. I am trying to break our family from that "tradition". So it's a bit more complicated then I stated.

My father actually messed himself up a lot more by mixing alcohol and his meds too much so I don't really intend on doing that.

I feel for you, keep your head up. Thats got to be rough having Asperger and that is a good explanation for whats going on. So much of relationships is physical unspoken things, and someone with a social disorder it would be very challenging.

I definitely am aware of that. Ironically my own child hood is mostly of my grandmother raising me when I was little for most part and mother that worked her butt off as well. She is one of those heavy christains so it doesn't help when you get drilled into you that you shouldn't go near a relationship unless you can provide for yourself. Which I do see the logic in that. It makes a lot of sense. But at same time I feel that I could most likely gotten some experience. I do tend to try to focus on more positive things.

Yeah I try to always keep eye contact when I talk to people knowing that's what you are supposed to do. Something I drilled into myself. When I had a job I became much more comfortable around people and at one point worked in a restaurant. It was a very good point in my life. Just made a bad mistake of getting a bit too quick to respond to some issue. Good news the owner of the restuarant has children with Aspergers so he knew what was really going on and fully understood.

But enough of that. So that being touched on, now I am wondering if it's possible that maybe the daughter have a similar disorder of some sort? Would that even be a possibility and in some ways would explain a lot about her own mentality. In some areas not fully aware but in other mature enough to do things most ppl her age wouldn't do.

OH I already am going thru such a program Kinda doing that right now. Basically they go to the interview with me and talk to employers on my behalf. I done it in the past that landed me a temporary job for 9 months that gave me training in Social Media marketing Which led to some good job opportunities later. So it was a very good experience.

I believe neither D nor Elena will be held "hostage" for long. Either the plane is turned back to MC-town by the storm or makes an unscheduled landing before reaching Rachel-country and the girls escape.
Once the plane does land in Rachel-country, all the MC could do is send money to help the babes escape. His physical presence in Rachel-country is useless.

Plane lands in rachel country, the girls go home unaware. Mom then confiscates phone and any cards or money. She says daughter is grounded and is not allowed out of house. Daughter is an adult and is free to leave, but has nowhere to go. She gos to Elinas place to crash and use her phone to call dad. From there dad can wire money to get the girls out.

So yeah following that line of logic dad doesnt need to show up at all and doesnt have to miss work. Still the airport cliffhanger implies hes going to be heading to Rachel country in my opinion. Are we going to see core content next update, or is the developer going to waste time with career paths that nobody gives half a shit about.

It's been stated he only wants to spend 2 updates at most on career path updates. But I have doubts. Something like that is supposed to become major part of the game would most likely take more than 2 updates. It would also effect the entire code that can mess with flow in a game. The game being renpy from my understanding is not so forgiving in that area. SO Unless they have an alternate build for the game with it already done then I can see it happening quickly.

Or it could be just a very minor addition to the game. Which in my opinion should have been done from the beginning. Renpy games hate having their code structure changed too much.

Okay, so i'm new to this forum, so if this is not the correct location for my response i apologize. I just finished V.13 and was, like most of you, pretty frustrated. I just started playing these games recently, and first play thru was V.12, but i do feel a pretty strong attachment to the D character.(whatever that implies about me)

I've read thru a lot of the last 20-30 pages of posts, and there seems to be some vitriol towards the F and for those of us that have daughters, that is understandable. I think it is very difficult to see this thru a first person perspective and not feel tremendous guilt. That being said, i am very much rooting for F&D to somehow succeed.

I have a theory that Mother may eventually be portrayed as an even deeper villain than D when we find out D is not even really F's Daughter. At least we know it has been said that she was a cheater. The time line suggests that D was 8 or so when the marriage fell apart, and its not insane to suggest the mother could have had an affair that lasted that long with Brad, or in true soap opera style any other random guy. We spend the next 2-3 years fighting back and forth about the inherent evil of the F and in the end we find out they're not really even related. Taboo is still taboo until you find out it isn't. Of coarse then the story will death rattle, but it still seems like a way for MrDots to ease our guilt about the entire scenario and how much we enjoyed it.

So we get D and F back together, more obstacles arise, eventually sex, multiple discoveries of the forbidden love to deal with, and outside threats from sexual aggressors etc. MrDots finally gets his 7000 square foot mansion in Malibu and what ever else his goals are, then we get the news D is pregnant.... Season cliffhanger. Oh no! Incest baby disaster, then we find out they "love" each other too much to end (abort)it... Subtle hints in story line suggesting they're not really blood relations... Bam big ending, they get married have the baby.. ride off into the sunset. Sure F is still kind of a cradle robber, but no longer a criminal. We all feel a little better about the sex scenes we watched, but have almost entirely lost interest in the story now that the forbidden element is lost. We've all been fish hooked by some big M Night ending. This project is big enough obviously to have a half dozen different endings depending on different partners chosen. It says something for the art and writing of the game if it inspires literally thousands of posts debating the plot, not to mention millions in revenue over the next few years. Its entertainment folks, and they are devices to elicit strong emotional responses.

I'll say this one sentence about it, i'm super not down for NTR., or any sharing really, but especially of D.

Obviously, lotsa room in there for deviation, but i doubt the harem ending is really in the cards. I hope i'm wrong. I know we're corrupting her, but i still have trouble seeing D's personality turning so far that shes really emotionally willing to just be the Top bitch in an ever growing harem, at least not in any believable way. Or that F would be relate able if he try to put her in that position, because at this point he has to much emotion invested in D. If the previous idea was already offered, I missed it and sorry for the wall of text.

Seems like it changes everything to me. Georgina, Martin and Maria are going to be gone from that branch of the game. Is there going to be another sexy model chick who wants to help your daughter with photography in the doctors branch? Has she had a secret crush on dad but never acted on it because he was her boss? How is she different from georgina?

I really dont understand the point to flesh out two alternative career archs. Sure if I could have the finish product now, and it had three fleshed out career paths with different characters and 3 chapters of DMD romance ontop of all of that, as well as various harem playthroughs, I would say yeah career paths were a cool addition.

But we all know in the real world that isnt practical. At this point we dont care if the career paths get fleshed out or not, we want continued content. The career path fleshing could take 6 months or longer. When that path gets started he has to finish it or else it would just have been a waste of time. Lets say 3 months into it he decides its taking longer then expected, we are going to bench it again. Thats 3 months without any type of progress or results taken away from the main story.

Maybe Mr. Dots is well off and doesnt need the income. Maybe hes just doing this as a personal hobby. I can respect that, but unless thats the case we could very well see an abandoned project if the subs start pulling out.
