- Reworked the whole FP/LP system. Now it’s harder to get points. Thats from the changelog so it's likely that.

No, I played without walkthrough. But I doubt that you can get much more FP/LP. I most probably did not play perfect though because I rushed through yesterday since it was so late in Europe when the new version was ready for dl.

I support games because I want to help the developers so they can spend more time on there games and not for the porn they make.

@dartis I disagree, i feel that chapter 1 was essential to the ongoing story. The personality of each character is established, we see how they interact with each other, their motivations, how exactly F and D went from not having seen each other for 10 years to kissing, fondling and masturbating each other.

Would you really be satisfied if at the start of chapter 2 there was just a blurb saying "you are <name> your relationship with your wife ended badly and she left the country, taking your daughter with her. After no contact for 10 years your daughter showed up at your door. Over the course of 2 weeks you went from being her father to being her lover. Now your ex has taken her away again, how will you get her back?"

Simply reading a background isn't the same as experiencing it. We've now seen HOW the relationship developed, we're invested in the characters.

Yes there is but you may miss content by using them.
Now if you need just a few points to do the cupid date and win it then that is ok to do.
This is an online cheat for a lot of games but be careful on what you change and by how much, again you can miss content if you raise them by cheating.

I only have these criticisms, because I believe DMD can be better and want it to be better and don't believe that chucking more money at it is the solution.

I don't want people to agree with me or like it any less. But, from where I stand, the worst thing that can happen is that DMD becomes beyond reproach. Untouchable. No one can criticise it, how dare they. Because, when that happens, you get things like RWBY, FNAF and Undertale's toxic community.

I also do not agree that chapter 1 was not necessary.... is any chapter 1 necessary? hmmm let's look at Star Wars. Episode 4, Episode 5. Could you start into episode 4 without knowing the background? heck yes... same with episode 5. in 1977 Star Wars hit the big screen, no one knew of the Force, the Jedi, the Sith or anything... did it stop people from writing books? nope look to alan dean foster's Splinter of a Mind's Eye. and all the stuff the fans started writing and speculating. The same happens here. what we saw was the evolution of someone who found they'd been lied to, and starting to rebel against that authority figure and do things and grow in terms of knowledge and action.

Can we do away with chapter 1 and not be any the wiser? Yes, should we? no. Dots and the devs had the idea of 3 chapters fairly early on and they have a timeline set out for things and are doing well to stick to it. I think we can only wait to see what chapter 2 shapes up to be. I'm not saying you're wrong in being concerned, I'm just saying you have asked questions that have been answered many times over in these 439+ (maybe 440 when i'm done typing) pages. discourse is always a good thing I just wish people would stop the idea of milking it. now that georgina and MC are active there will be more sex i am sure and what will elena and D do back home as they find their way back to the MC. I agree with you that Elena did grow but the daughter did too. she went from someone that is naive and not even though much of sex to someone that is starting to appreciate sex and enjoy it.

Actually, I'd argue that episode four is very, very necessary. Luke wants change, is rewarded, pays for that reward and becomes a better person as he learns from the experience. The villains are, for the first time in the lore of the story, humbled. Plus, the force, jedi, sith, all that came from exposition. The bread and butter of any story worth telling.

Not unsurprisingly, this little porn game does not stand up to one of the movie greats that started a trilogy that revolutionised the sci-fi genre. I do understand that you're tired of criticism for a game you like, but that game is now finished. A complete whole package. Of course I'm going to discuss how I felt about it, this is the dating my daughter discussion thread.

I just finished playing BB last Friday and I could not even imagine having to go through all that again. I would go nuts. Thank goodness for saves!
I can understand how everyone doesn't want to play all over again. Since I JUST picked up the game I am lucky, in that, I get to see the game in it's (semi) finished state. For me, this was my first play through so, I may have enjoyed the play through more than most people having to wait month after month for a small portion of the story. Thanks for the link, but it doesn't answer any of my questions or worries for the future of dating my daughter. We are, mostly, in the same position at the end of chapter one as we were at the start. A link to a post that tells me about the 0.14 update and tells me not to worry about my saves, doesn't give me any answers or soften my criticisms.

If Chapter 2 is to be good, something needs to be resolved, our characters need to grow as a result of that resolution and they need to have scenes that believably deepens their relationship. Basically, everything that wasn't in chapter 1. Because, the Father is still an passive agent in his own story and Daughter is still naive and that's why anyone could easily start from chapter two and not miss a thing.

Elena might actually be the only one who was shown development as a character, as we saw her take an active role in the relationship and it was revealed that she has parent issues that drives her actions. Even then, what we saw of her wasn't enough.

V 0.14 was basically about fixing plot holes and no story progression. Story progression is supposed to happen on November when Chapter-2 starts.

did I say I was tired? no I said discourse is welcome the part I am tired is the "this dev is MILKING this" every update it comes out. there is no foundation but their want for it to be that way. this is what I'm talking about and not what you are saying. You have sound reasoning. but let me put episode 5 in a different light. you see a bunch of rebels that have come together... you have the farm boy, that is the hero of the rebellion (commander at such a young age...) the smuggler who has a price on his head, and a princess that is leading the rebellion. what happens here is the baddies are going to attack them and the rebels escape, the farm boy goes off to train and the jedi and sith are then introduced there as yoda trains luke. han is keeping the princess safe.... but you do not NEED episode 4 to even understand episode 5. same with episode 6. each story has a beginning, middle and end. they explain what is needed for the story of that. take the Sword of Shannara series. there are a great many people that did not know anything about that series because it's been so long since it's been in the lime light. Yet the tv show took up the Elfstones of Shannara and not the Sword of Shannara yet it was perfectly fine. till we see what chapter 2 contains we have no idea how much episode 1 matters.
