Nice update. Did not expect that much because that is what I have been told before already but the new sex scenes with Olivia and Elena were quite good.

For the lazy people I uploaded the save games before the scenes. Tbf though, replaying DmD is not that bad. Think about replaying Big Brother for example...

4-5-LT = Olivia
4-6-LT = Elena
Thank you for this but how do I get these saves to work?

awesome :noexpression: not saying the game is bad for a replay im saying its pretty freaking long XD i guess its better then some japanese games though XD
Thats true its quite long, but on other hand it gives you another experience of completing whole thing at one time, update per update vaporise half over the months of play :). But also got option to skip via holding ctrl if you want only decisions and follow walkthrough (have to wait for proper one tho i think). :)

people make these assumes because its like video games that have expansion packs to carry on the series example mass effect
Think of the budget of Mass Effect and the budget of DmD... how can you compare the 2 games... not to mention Andromeda besides all failed as hard as the difference in the two said budgets. Plus if you look and the long post by one of the devs of DMD on the previous page, you'll see that they have thought about the fact that there would be people that haven't played the 1st chapter and play the 2nd. Although the jump from ME 3 to Andromeda was the worst in the industry of gaming EVER. *deep breaths, deep breaths, don't get angry on BioWare for fucking up your favorite game*

something tells me you liked the mass effect series until the ending of number 3 i wasnt particularly upset because i honesty just bought the game to finsh the story line my favorite game out of the series was number 2 and for the record tali is babe
OT: Nope, I'm angry because they fucked up Andromeda... with all the technical issues and what not... I ever 1st played the second game... and after that I even loved 1st even tho it was way too bad CG wise, but not story and gameplay wise. Most loved ME 3 for the Citadel DLC, 'couse I was able to meet my old friends again. I have thousands of hours played on the trilogy, I loved Andromeda too in fact, the cahrs were basically the same (Drak - Wrex, PeeBee - Liara, etc) but the dropping frames, loss of sound, unexpected errors that close the game and the long loading screens after that (even on SSD) I couldn't handle it... and after months and months of trying to love Andromeda... I dropped it...

As one of the writers of the game, my answer is: the main "plot point" of chapter 1 was to make the MCs fall in love with each other in a "believable" way - not so simple in an incest story. There might have been a bit of cunning from F especially at the beginning (something quite common in any legit seduction game I guess), but on the whole, I take some pride in the fact that everything has been consensual and respectful, immersed in a sweet caring atmosphere, and yet still sexy and naughty when the erotic tension arose. If FALLING IN LOVE (not to mention, passing from awkward hugging to horny mutual masturbation) is not a big step towards the completion of the story, I don't know what it is.

As for the fact that there is "no strong connection between F and D", I don't know what game you've played. I am genuinely taken aback by such a statement. Th game is stacked with bonfing moments: the Cupid Game when D tell F that she loves him... like, really... and kisses him...and it feels somewhat different; the nudist beach scene, when D hides behind F's back while confronting Koko; the fight with Lucas...! Really, the "selling point" of DMD as a whole, what makes it stand out ion comparison to other games, is precisely the strong connection between the MCs - that's something the fans tend to agree on. So, building that connection was another objective of this first chapter, and I'm surprised you didn't feel it. It might happen, sure, everybody "clicks" differently, but please be aware that you are definetely in a minority on this specific issue.

So, I have tackled the "plot developments" issue. As for characters' development, well, to start with, we get introduced to a lot of minor characters: Elena, Georgina, Jennifer, Richard, Lucas, Martin, Olivia, Graham, Koko, Riccardo, Margo, Rachel etc. Some of them were not "deepened" as we would have liked - didn't have time - but still, some others got a decent characterization while still keeping the sportlight on the MCs - again, no easy feat, given that many people got terribly angry as soon as D lost the tiniest bit of focus ("the game is titled dating my daughter, not dating my daughter's friend or dating my secretary"). Now we have a crowded cast of differently motivated character to play with, introducing them little by little was an objective of this first chapter.

As for the MCs, well the father can't really be developed that much, since it is supposed to stand for the player and cannot become too "specific" without losing its potential for identification. Also, he is already in his late 30s/early 40s, his potential for growth is not that much. We tried to depict his doubts about falling in love with his own daughter, how he eventually overcame them, his concerns about "raising" her at the best of his possibilities, and his guilt over cheating on her. Not much, I agree, but again, "fleshing" him was never the mainj point.

D is a different discourse though. You say you didn't notice her growth as a character, well I am very sad about that. We tried to depict how she got more and more confident throughout the game. The scene where she speaks with Rachel on Skype, the scene the scene where she reassures dad during a pause in the photo shoot with Richard (demonstrating to be more mature than him, still too jealous!), all her "alcohol aprrenticeship", her coming to terms with her body image, all these things stand for her growth and strenthening as a character. The arriving point of this process is fittingly the (almost) final scene of the chapter, when she has her very first orgasm. I think it is a defining moment: up until now, D was mostly "passive" in sexual matters because, well, she didn't really appreciate what was at stake. XD Now, she will be much more proactive, and enthusiast about discovering herself and her relationship with F. It seems to me a momentous event, and a worthy climax (wink wink) for D's character growth.

So, did we resolve something in ch.1? Sure, we had the MCs fall in love and decide to find a way to live together. We had a "final boss" (Lucas) defeated (actually a minion, the real obstacles are yet to come as you correcty said). And we had a general transormation of the character that gives the title to the game. So no, ch.1 was not useless, EVEN THOUGH when we decided to split the game into different chapters, we did think that it would have been a good thing if someone discovering the game for the first time could have started playing chapter 2 without feeling completely lost.

The way I see it, chapter 1 was about setting the general tone of the game, introducing the characters, and giving them something to fight for - their budding love; chapter 2 will be the "conflict chapter" where the MCs will have to really earn their happiness, afinding a way to live their love; and chapter 3 will be the "sandbox chapter" where players will have to decide which kind of "happy ever after" they want for this story. Many things are still to be decided, and I am only one of the writers (plus I won't collaborate to chapter 2 much), so don't take what I'm saying as definitve (especially about the chapter 3), but this is my general understaning of the DMD project. We'll see how it goes.
My sole question is thus; could you please send me the copy of chapter one that you've been playing, because it does indeed sound very different to the one I've been playing.

Actually no, I've got other questions. You said you wanted to flesh out the side characters more, well then why didn't you? You're one of the writers. You should have had that power. Miles Luna talks big about wanting to flesh out the side characters in RWBY more, if only it was possible, and it sounds just as weak there as it does here. If you wanted to add in something that you felt necessary, then you should have cut out parts that felt unnecessary.

Then there's this, making romantic incest believable isn't so simple. That's fair, but you seem to believe that romance wouldn't have blossomed unless F had manipulated the daughter, as he did, throughout the game. I'm sorry, but did you actually do some research before you got involved with the project? Do you honestly believe that, in real life, every incestuous relationship happens only because the older party member is pulling some strings? Because, if so, you are worse at writing incest porn than summertime saga.

I'll agree with you that I'm a minority on finding the romantic aspects and character bonding to be lackluster, apparently I'm the only one here who has read a romance novel. I must be, if you think the entire holiday (cupid night, Koko, snooker, nude beach, regular beach, etc.) was at all romantic. For me to find it romantic, I first had to be invested in the romance and I just wasn't, because this game failed to make me genuinely like any of the characters. The part, need I remind you, is what Chapter 1, of any story, is for.

But, let's get to that, shall we. You state that you see chapter 1 as setting the tone, introducing the characters, giving them motives and that's it. Yet, not only was it all that a first chapter should be, you failed at what you thought chapter one should be. The tone of DMD is inconsistent, the characters were introduced, however, there was never any events that made them anything more than guy who's eyes we are looking out of and sexy lampshade and they didn't have any motives until near the end. Throughout almost the entirety of chapter 1, our characters either do not have motives or they are unsure of their motives. An example being that father flips flops between thinking that the relationship is going to fast and trying to convince D to let him feel her breasts. What even was Daughter's motivation for travelling thousands of miles to see her dad? It felt to me like mild curiosity.

I won't try to tell anyone that this game is bad, I'll argue my viewpoint for fun, but that's the extent. Yet there's no way in hell that you can convince me it's good and doesn't need improving. DMD CAN be good, but anything can be good. Unless it ignores valid criticism.

Man, seriously, you're trying to change peoples' minds so they think as you? It's the biggest gift of evolution that people are not the same, and don't think the same. What the devs did in their game is what they wanted to do with it. If you're so better than them, start your own project and make it better than them. You have to accept that as a consumer, you'll consume what is there for you and write tons of pages how you're better and how everyone suck, just make a better and more prosperous product than them and then you can snub them...

Why you even bother playing the game in the 1st place?!? TROLL

A way to unlock the rewards without playing again (unlocker?)? (Seen the cg rip but prefer ingame unlocker if possible).

I started playing ME just as ME2 came out... I got the CE version of ME2 and loved it and ME1.. ME3 LOVED IT! I love Andromeda as well, and I don't experience much load times there, nothing beyond ME1 (actually less TBH). Andromeda was another ME1 to me, it wasn't perfect it was good. and A2 would have been like ME2. it's sad that people just didn't care for it but I understand they were expecting something to surpass ME3 visually and play content wise. meh. but I loved it.

also the comparisons between this game and Mass Effect, or Star Wars is not comparing the content, but comparing aspects of it. you can' compare a movie to a hentai game. or a game produced by a big studio that has 2-5 years to produce content for release when you're a tiny 1-10 person show releasing content every month. but some concepts and aspects can be compared for instance the episodic nature of the two. etc.

Happy Halloween (4K October Wallpaper)
Hi guys!

I know that this month's poster was going to be about D and Margo, but since it's halloween next week, I've decided to postpone that one to next month and give you another gift instead :)

A 4K Halloween wallpaper of D! I'll also be changing this reward and start giving you 4K wallpapers instead of just posters.

Chapter 2. it will be started next month's release (V.15/V.1 depending on how you look at it). you will have to replay V.14 DMD chapter 1 if you do not want your choices assumed for you. what you want to do in chapter 2 is up to you. if you only want D then go that route.
