Well, it was something planned from the beginning. Personally I feel for the fans that were expecting that type of content and regardless of whether I like the type of content or not a bait and switch is never good business practice.

I'm seeing mention of "NTR" here and feel the need to clarify: MMF was never meant to be about NTR, but about sharing. That has been debated and defined heavily for the past couple of years in this very game thread.

A sharing route simply gave D the same leeway to exercise her desires and urges by bringing in a male sex (and more?) partner in addition to the female sex (and more?) partner that the MC has allowed. It wasn't NTR, though some early debate did offer a NTR path which sounded potentially interesting (i.e., D and MC could become distanced, leading to some "dating around" situations before they came back together again) but that was never in the realm of consideration by the MrDots team - only the MMF sharing to match the MFF sharing, and the pluses to D's growth and their relationship that the needed level of trust and generosity by the MC could imply.

To be clear the MMF scenes in this chapter will still take place right just no more after that during chapter 4? What exactly are you celebrating?

These changes just show a lack of integrity more than anything else. Scenes and storylines that have been built up for years now that people were looking forward too are now going to be half baked side scenes with no follow up.

It looks like the Jennifer path will end up with us taking her virginity in a threesome? is this what Jennifer fans want or would it have been better to have her own cherry popping scene first before jumping into a full blown threesome with a good friend and her Dad.

Whether you are into sharing or not this game has become a convoluted mess, the whole Ruby storyline is a good example of how nothing that anyone says matters anymore and you should not invest any interest in any of the characters.

That whole after party scene was terrible start to finish, oh D has sharing points? lets show her playing with herself in the pool with no reaction from anyone male or female for a few seconds before moving on to something else. It was completely pointless.

I find it odd that the group which predominately believe DMD should have ended with Chapter 2 are the D only sect and now that seems to be the overriding path for Chapter 4. Let me clarify by D only I mean D with no other guys, D with no other girls unless it involves F and D NEVER initiating sex with anyone other than F.
The D sharing faction has been waiting for all of the ground work laid in the previous chapters to come to fruition and now it seems as if this was all a waste of time.
Going through the D only looking-glass will take a great VN and reduce it to just another mediocre game that ended with a lackluster finish.

Numbers don't lie. Ch3 has been in development for a year so far, focused on the male and sharing paths, and very little on the other girls. Numbers for MrDots haven't increased much. If there was a fan base big enough that liked that content, then the support would've increased. It didn't.

Only when Sunshine Love got released numbers started to pick up again, which clearly shows you what most fans like: harem-based games, where you are the only male MC. This seems to happen with all the other games and that's why there's so little MMF and sharing content out there imo.

Not all paths should stay ongoing until the end of the game. I suspect Margo and Cassandra are also getting sacked.

I might be wrong though, but it's still too early and CH4 has not yet started. Things might change in the future.

I agree. Its a mediocre game. The slow burn is only worth it with a reward at the end. without that its just a slow-burn game with teasing that leads to nothing. how can that be a good game? a reward is needed to feel satisfied. the only reason I followed this game is because the TAGS when they started the game: corruption, sharing, mmf. but wheres that? very little of those 3 but plenty of cheating and mff.

It's when optional content is removed in favor of only one path that DMD suffers. Content that was given as the end game of DMD. Why have a corruption petal if all D was going to do was what is fairly mainstream sex? Corruption is the wrong term, maybe the "bring D out of her shell" petals, but corruption leads the you to think of sex acts further and further from the norm and further into fetish world.

IMO this action of not letting D become more sexually aggressive kicks the legs out of all of the effort that was put into developing D as an independent person (in the VN) and now just makes her the same daddy's little toy she was at the start of Chapter 3.

I would be just as much against removing the optional D only content from Chapter 4 in the current design of DMD . Ironically many D Only-ers feel the VN should have ended with Chapter 2.

I can see a lot of "Damn this is repetitive" and DMD "should have ended at Chapter 2" comments in the next year. And now not just from those D Only-ers.

F will always know what D is going to do and with whom she will be doing it with. He has to give her his OK and it seems be present or joining in.

Opinions are great except when it has nothing to do with being an opinion. Try to google NTR. You'll get pages of results saying basically the same thing which boils down to "NTR=When the Love Interest Is Cheating on Them".
