This might sound naïve but I have a feeling the "incest" label causes concerns with various bodies, and although its only implied would it not be easier for game makers/designers not to include "incest" in there title and make it "dating my neighbours daughter" and like other games like "dreams of desire" and "man of the house" have the door open for a mapping file that changes the names ?

she doesn't look flat chested to me. maybe C's instead of the DD's we were used to on D. she looks proportionate and cute. I honestly can't wait until next month to give the new game a try.

Judging by the few images on Patreon it's quite remarkable how much their models and rendering have improved since the beginning of DMD. The new character looks great, nice cute/beautiful ratio and realistically proportioned, unlike most games where the characters look like they were designed on the cheap and ass and titties happened to be 90% off list price at the model store.

I so wanted to hate, hate, hate this new game with a fiery passion, but I'm starting to like it. Damn you MrDots and your wily, seductive ways! Damn you to heck!

I'm actually looking forward more to 16.5 than even 0.17. Get to finally correct page 1 after almost 2 months.

As far as the community can tell, PayPal (the main payment processor) warned Patreon (the legal/financial center ) that it would not tolerate certain taboo topics (such as incest) being associated with its "brand".
In turn, Patreon has started banning porn games that contain "obvious" (they alone decide what this means) incest and a few other extreme fetishes (such as rape, loli and bestiality). Unfortunately, DMD has been banned on Patreon.
An uncensored version, 16.5, is very soon to be released of DMD. Plus, February 14 there will be a NEW update of the uncensored DMD 0.17.
What happens with DMD after that we all have to wait and see...

Definitely not. As far as I know, the dev of TP at least "semi-froze" development and didn't give players an adequate explanation why.
The two games I am aware of with similar bans as DMD : Big Brother and Research into Corruption. These were also banned. But these two games are OFFICIALLY--the dev says so--discontinued.
For now, DMD is to be continued even after 0.17. The details of when/how this continuation will take place is totally unclear as of yet.

Patrons pay monthly.
As long as a dev delivers "something" during that month, the contract is fulfilled. DMD had zero patrons--they "belong" to MrDots Games.
Legally, no money is lost. No one thinks this system sucks more than I do. I refuse to be a patron because of it.
But I believe in individual freedom. Every person is free to decide what's most appropriate for himself...

The new project, "Melody" has its first release on March 23.
I'm sure MrDots will keep the community informed about his future plans regarding DMD.

If you look in the top right corner of your screen. Just below your name is "search". By customizing the search for "search titles"--in this case Parental Love--all the threads relating to that game will be listed. Very good thing to remember...

Release Dates
V0.17 = February 14th

and this has been up for a while now.
