I would have to dig deeper into Kimochi's contract to determine if there are other detriments. But on the surface, not much different.

I can't get anything to work. I've reopened chapter 14 and played to the end. Then I reopened chapter 16 and played to the end. Even though chapter 17 sees the saves from ch.16, they will not open and the "Load Game" icon is greyed out.

I've exhausted the instructions on page 1 of this thread. I want to play the game with my stats from before. Any advice?

You have to get v14.5 and v16.5
The old ones don't work with the new upgrade 0.17

Nope, I think only if you want to load saves properly.

I got 0.16 save to work, not the last one but i tried other previous saves and one worked when they were in the spa massaging, so i played from there to 0.17. At least did not have to play from the beginning.
