If DMD had not been banned from Patreon, I would have bet D would have still been a virgin at the end of Chapter 2. A few twists, turns, and cliffhangers would have sufficed.
But as things are at present, fans just don't know. For instance : how much support would Melody have without many patrons making it crystal clear their pledge is to indirectly support DMD?
As I've already stated, the DMD 0.18 update content AND the Melody pledging arrangement are VERY closely connected.
I actually prefer the drama surrounding Patreon and DMD to the game itself. We haven't reached short strokes yet!

I think I disagree with this somewhat. I do think that it will be sooner rather than later. However, with what he has said he has or had plans for, sex for the end of Chapt2 completely makes sense.

I've always felt that with the multi-paths opening up, in terms of bdsm, 3somes, etc... the final chapter would be more reserved for that than for vanilla sex with D.

From the outset of DMD, MrDots has tried to cater to a wide range of tastes. He actually started teasing extreme fetishes after 0.03. Simply because extreme fetishists seem to be so patient, they are being made to wait the longest.
On the other hand, some people--myself included--will only stay for the main payoff, which is p.i.v. sex by F/D. So, from a business point of view we must be teased enough to stay just a "bit" longer as well. Ergo, there is no rush for this.
My opinion is based on financial aspects rather than simple logic. At the end of the day, this is a porn game. The "story" is not only implausible but sloppily written. The characters act inconsistently EXCEPT that all actions likely lead to sex.
The financial aspect IS the most important characteristic. Sure, there is creativity on display. Also, there is enough logic to convince/delude players that this is important. Sad, perhaps, but...

Nobody expect everybody will like every possible fetish that can be in the game.Hell I don't know a person that like all fetishes in Starless and that game have a lot of them.Not to mention a big junk of them are not even posted in the spoiler.

Yeah, it's typical progression in relationships. I just don't like that it is, personally. Makes me kind of resent intercourse, in a way. Games aren't real-life, though, as you said, so we'll see what happens here!

Cassandra can be moved to new studios by her company, so if F can get the business growing again and she has a relationship with him, she can probably ask to be transferred to a site in his country.

Just one possible way around that.

More then happy to help, what is the game you are working on? I just wish I knew DAZ 3D and had all of MrDots settings for the D, then I could make some real fun stuff. The problem with my photoshop is it's 2d and I can't move it around and posse it. If I could do this in DAZ I would have done about 20 posses. Actualy not been on Patreon remove all restrictions the dev can have for fetishes.

Oh yes, I for one welcome our new corruption overlords. But also get why some people would just peace out there.
Might even be a time to make a new chapter to make a clean cut. Long enough build up to get to everything "normal" (heh)
for most people and then start Chapter 2: The pervert awakens. Then people can also say they played the game they wanted to its fullest, while leaving the rest to others. Think some people would like that to sooth their soul.

Or just go with with preference options and optional content to have it all go parallel to each other, guess that works fine as well.
