*sigh* Some folks just have zero ability to interpret intended humour, but that's something I can't do anything to help with!

1: Trying to explain your point of view as to what constitutes a stupid argument is both irrelevant and stupid in and of itself. But that's a discussion that, by your own definition, has no place in a porn forum for ...... some sort of weird reasons that only you seem to know about. First and foremost it's a forum! Which means it's a place where people can (and do) discuss all sorts of things!
2: Basing your time prediction on the amount of time it took the mod creator to update the previous two versions of the mod is somewhat flawed because it fails to take into account the very point I was attempting to get across, which is the very real fact that a mod creator may have other mods to update first! Depending on how many mods a creator needs to update first, it could very well be a week before they are able to even begin updating a particular mod, hence why I suggested it may be more like two weeks! That's not even taking into account anything else that may result in any sort of delay. Oh, and then you finish off with that wonderful "And since there have only been two of chapter 4 so far, that's 100%"! Oh my, you are so far away from 100% that you don't even realise nor understand why you are so wrong!

Mod for Ch3v0.29.1 is borked. Lines 80 & 81 in "Lain_Overides" refer to button images that don't have an idle. Heck, the images don't exist at all tbh. Previous mod code (Mod for Ch3v0.29) does not have this issue (because it does not contain these two code lines).

Here are the two code lines referencing those button images:

Assuming quite a bit there... the Deleted scenes and Pat's scenes menu buttons are actually added to the main game in Update 0.29.1... so, I dunno why that broke for you...

So I am just starting the game from chapter one but seeing a few variances from the mod features and what the game is presenting me with options. I have the mod installed and have been following the options the are highlighted so I know it is working, but at some points the either or options are there for me to choose. For example the picture of Elena on the phone I only had the delete option, telling the daughter if you love Georgina or not only one option, and I believe even the option to do the diner event or the apartment event but that might just be split between days. I am not sure if I am missing something, that is how it is now, or something else.

In Ch1, on the nudist beach with the bartender, why does the mod encourage me to not break the guy's binoculars and let him continue spying on Dee?
My sharing points went from 0 to 5 after allowing him to keep going.
I do not want to share Dee with other men or allow them to wank to her, or do sharing at all, why is this the only choice that is highlighted?

In the end it helps you more than you would lose from it.
My advice is that if you play with Lain's do what she tells you.
The mod knows what it's doing.
I think in CH2 you can talk to D about the guy with the binoculars and she isn't mad at you if that's what you are fearing.

No, not afraid of Dee being mad, just don't like voyeurism. (I held down skip through the Martin/Maria scene) and don't want others perving over Dee if I can help it. Trying to get as little sharing points as possible because I don't want to share Dee (or any of the other girls) with any other guys so trying to kill that in its infancy. Its also why I told the photographer to fuck off and will be doing so for any other male that gets near the girls.

0.31 is the newest update with content, 0.30 is the older version. If you play 0.31 game with 0.30 mod, your game will not show new 0.31 content, so please wait for the mod to be updated.

Usually, game versions with bugfixes will have "a" or ".1" after it, eg- "0.31a" or "0.31.1". But everyone follows a different nomenclature, so you should always check the "Changelog" in the OP(original post) when in doubt.

Also, it has been my experience over the last couple years or so that Mr. Dots only very rarely releases updates without any new content, and the rule of thumb has always been to use only the mod version that matches the game version. Lain does the best mods out there, and she does so by working closely with game designers and getting into the game code to make sure the mods work properly. The catch to that is that the mods are very much version-dependent, and while it is always possible that the game may work to a point with the wrong mod installed, it will only work to a point and there is a very real chance of breaking the game with the wrong mod version. You can *try* the old mod, nothing wrong with trying, but keep a backup copy of your game save just in case if you do. Better to wait until Lain is able to get the mod updated and use the current version.

so just to make sure i read your comment correct, even though the game is updated if the lains mod is installed it wont progress the game and just proceed as if it was the previous version? right now my save is at the end of the last version content, chapter 4 v0.30. I updated to v0.31 and still have the lains mod but it still ends with Cassandra catching the daughter and MC having sex.

The last time I played DMD, the 2nd chapter was just starting. I've yet to play the newest version, waiting on the mod. Sorry, scene-wise I wouldn't know what's latest content and what's previous version. I don't know how it works exactly, but most times the mod files overwrite game files, so either outdated mods will not show newest content, or you won't have WT/Improvements for newest version. Playing with older version mod might also cause your game & save to be bugged. But this is not the case every time, best thing to do is use the same version mod and game. I hope I was clear enough this time.

Yes.

Some times an outdated mod will still work on a newer version game, but chances of something not breaking/bugging are miniscule. So, again, best to play mod that is the same version as game.
