It's weird, I just took a look at my save after finishing chapter 5 and a bunch of the save is taken up by Play with Us episode 2 information so Palmer is storing both games data in the same structure instead of making a new structure for the new game.

Same here. I found out you'll have to play the free online versions of the previous chapters, first/again:

Here all all my saves from playing the game. They might not be named correctly in the early ones, didn't start with the chapter number until recently. Real daughter, BBQ, MC name Ian, Heidi route. Failed with woman at bar enough times that I just moved on and got the bartender instead. I haven't looked through my cookies in FF to see if Palmer has the game states stored there yet.

Ok, people have been asking for specific saves, so I went ahead and created saves for every chapter. They are all the straight forward path where you're kind and honest to everyone. Also pursued (and fucked) Kathy.

H = Heidi path, V = Veronica path

In Chapter 5, when she asks you how you feel about her, say "I wish I knew" (or something like that). Then after you fix the dishwasher, you'll get the scene.

you either:

1) didn’t play the previous chapter
2) didn’t check settings in the main menu where the backup option is located, so check there

I played the previous chapter. The option is not there. I used the files provided in the links here.

1.- The renders are spectacular. I can't even tell what engine has been used. There are no generic models and outfits that you have seen 1000 times before.

2.- It's a Professional-grade adoption of the Japanese Visual Novels, in every production level. After playing so many first versions with terrible quality, playing something this well finished and with such attention to detail is very warming.

3.- It's very, very well written. Very early in the game you can choose between telling your daughter to stop watching a movie or to let her finish. Normally I would choose to order her as if that was the "dominance route" option. But here I couldn't do it because I felt like an asshole. She was a real character and so was I. Clear motives, pathos, very clever and natural slipping into incest, very funny when it has to be... I could go on all day. This has been written by someone that not only knows how to write but also know how humans and sex works -which is sadly more than you can say of most incest games posted in this forum.

Wow! very thorough reply and I agree way way too many incest games have such poor writing you have definitely sold me on the Dev's writing skills I will check this out.

interesting you mention Japanese novels as yeah after years of playing them and then playing the Patreon/amateur visual novels you can't help but notice the massive difference in writing skills.
