Hello all, I have played first 3 chapters online trough official website, when trying to run chapter 4, keeps telling me
that I haven't played chapter 3 previously.

Is it necessary to run the first 3 in the same browser session and only then chapter 4 will be available?!

I even tried to load a backup file from chapter 3, game restarts but still wont work.

If you've saved the data file from a completed chapter 3 you should be able to load it with the pirated chapter 4. The only reason it wouldn't work is if the data file isn't complete for some reason... so far as I know.

if i imported someone else's save for chapter 4 because i didnt want to play through the online version, is there a way to reset it? So i can import my own one later?

I was able to play the whole thing from the start after testing 4 and 5 for sam with no issue, so theoretically, yes

Even with that mod, same screen, can try to run game online in firefox.
Does not make much sense but it doesn't hurt to try.

Well, if all you wanna do is replay 4, I'm not entirely sure. However, my save carried over from 3 just fine.

you've started the batch? Actually, I can see your taskbar, no cmd window is open, so yeah, you need to open the batch first, or just default Firefox for a minute and run it there then swap back to Chrome if you prefer it.

Yep, don't close start.bat, keep it open until you're done playing. Start.bat starts your local temporary web server that is hosting your game. When you close Start.bat, server stops.
But while it's running, you can access the game on

I imported my save file into Chap4 without any issues, but now for Chap5 it still tells me it can't detect I have played prior chapters, and when I try to import the newly created Chap4 backup, it says "The selected Backup File is not valid"

did you close the command prompt window for part 4 before loading 5?
