Chapter 6 was basically a virtual novel with a little eroge sprinkled at the end. Storyline is decent but I would feel if I would be a patreon you'd have at least 1 sex scene to partake in per update at this point (6th update). That could be one improvement and another would be to reduce the wait time between scene setups, they're longer than they need to be.

The assets also seem to be 90% recycled beyond the shower scene. So basically, the majority of the update is adding the voiceovers, setting up the texts and storyline.

Has anyone succeeded in playing this on Wine?

Yes, but I had to install winehq's latest builds if I remember correctly. I think the rendering stuff wants directx11 support and only the latest builds supported that. Once I got that installed, it played fine. Crashed once (and locked the machine), but after that I was able to play for awhile without any more crashes or locks.

Since I'm on an Ubuntu variant, I used these instructions:

Hokay, I've finally gotten around to running Ch. 6 (there are so many good games out there right now). If I had to sum up this chapter in one word, it would be...ponderous.

The whole elongated set up/prelude to reopening the restaurant was torturous. It could easily have been shortened by half. The net effect (for me) was to make me even more aware of the recycled poses. It felt just a little creepy.

There were few dialog choices in this installment, it was almost entirely textual. It felt like a really long conversation, rather than an advancing plot.

As for the last scene, well...

I've kinda been on an enjoyed/annoyed journey with this game. I wonder if this is something I should just wait until it is a completed novel.

This installment left me a little underwhelmed, both from a character development and a story development aspect. I thought Ch. 5 did much more on both fronts.

I still think the idea and delivery are worthy of continued interest, I'm just not sure the installment method is working as well for me.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I was borderline freaking out about her noticing... something that apparently wasn't even there, leaving me feel like there was absolutely no sexual tension at all. The one scene where something could've been possible was left literally hanging, as one final reminder that this chapter had absolutely nothing.

Wow.. chapter 6 was a complete letdown. Basically nothing but the characters standing around saying "I wonder if the diner will be ok". What was the creator thinking with this one... how could they think this was up to their standard? Really disappointing and boring.

Indeed it was. Literally nothing happened. Only the very last couple of scenes turned to be a little exciting, but only a little.

So did anyone else get the funny feeling that Kate is your daughter from another relationship? While reading through her dialogue I was drawn to the fact that she kept referring to "out relationship" is complicated, things are not what the seem ect...

I also kind of feel as things are getting drawn out some, almost like the Author doesn't want it to end. But we are almost 8 chapters in and we are "just now" getting to the point of the whole game.
Dont't get me wrong I really like this novel and I actually did opt to become a patreon because I hope he will continue writing. But maybe it could get a bit faster paced?

This is one of my favourites, but chapter 6 was absolutely unneccesary. The guy is MILKING all the trivial things. If you have played till chapter five, don't bother playing chapter six. I would rather wait for seven... and hope he doesn't fuck it up again. It would be a shame, because the game certainly is one of the best here.

Well i disagree. after the second chapter, i started to play it not just for the sexy women, but also for the plot. I loved, the scenes where everyday events happened.
Oh and even if you're skipping through the whole chapter, you should, because at the end there are some really beautiful pictures.

I really dislike the setup for this game. Having each chapter a separate game means that nothing you do in previous chapters are taken into account. And I hate that. If this was set up like Sister, Sister, Sister or Dreams of Desire, that would be awesome. But as is I'm not a huge fan of this game.

Like the code in episode 4 shows, if they want to, there is a way to keep your decisions.
