The ever growing number of abandoned games says otherwise.
That comes with finishing games and growing your community, not abandoning games hoping the next one will stick.
People see an ever growing number of abandoned games and do the exact opposite. Just how many people do you think will pay money towards a developer with 4 abandoned games?

After a few days of hard work I've managed to also finish up the remaining part of the script that I worked on a long time ago. I've had to re-work a few things of course, but I think the end result is pretty good. Since I now on longer have an old script to work from for version 0.3, the next update might take a little longer. Probably around the end of January or early February.

The poll I posted shortly after releasing version 0.1 about which Olympian people would like to see in the game sure had some interesting results. Athena absolutely crushed all competition and has more than twice as many votes as the number 2 winner. For obvious reasons nearly all female Olympains also received significantly more votes than their male counterparts. The exception to this was Hades, who was also pretty popular.
In the next few days I'll also upload the poll for which Olympian the first short story should focus on (see Patron rewards). So if you're a $25 Patron, keep your eyes open for that.
I hope you'll all enjoy this update and be sure to let me know what you think about it.

I will soon try this game and I am hoping for the best as I really liked the other games, even thought they got abandoned.
The good old days! I love all these old TV shows like Hercules and Xena and all the other things of greek mythologie

nice little VN so far. Its just nudity but I am enjoying the story.
Not really sure what the approval and disapproval do yet though as relationships don't seem to be affected in these early versions of the game.
Thing that lit a light bulb was how the gods are portrayed. We see the earlier gods dressed and the other gods later in this update not dressed. I like how the later gods shown the greater than thou attitude and show the lack of shame clothes are from the Garden of Eden. This sorta thing brought everything I sorta know all together and its a pleasant surprise to see it intertwined.

because my opinion matters not as i'm but a cheapass pirate..i tried this..because why not..i get bored easy..i did not allow myself to immerse though as this dev has abandoned games i immersed into before...so i just played this as a critic..lol..
1st..i enjoyed the story..its the sort of thing i like..2nd..i've always liked the art style so this was good for me also...3rd it was easy to get into navigate and play
NOW...if this game managed to make it past the 5 update phase..i'll immerse....it so far is good enough that i would..but until that point..i'm going to look at this game as an observer and not a player.

I thin the issue for me is that there is too much dialogue. I know it sounds weird and I love me a good story. However there is so much to read and less to look at I get bored very quickly. I cant get myself into these characters since they seem to exist without any reason.
Nice interesting story. If it was a book I picked up somewhere and started reading, I'd probably finish it. And the girls have great realistic faces. As a porn game though, not enough sexy stuff. Just some nudity. Could have at least made the Hera scene more erotic by making MC bow down and kiss or lick her feet. Can't recommend as a porn game, but I like the story.

That is 100% correct, if this dev would have keep making the games they started i'm pretty sure they would have triple the support they have right now.

Sounds like BS to me, especially considering their reputation at this point. There's soooooo many games at are along the same genre so it wouldn't make sense for it to be flagged for no reason. Sounds like they just wanted a reason to abandon another game while trying to save their cred.
Who knows? Their first big game they completed with regular updates, and it's not like they haven't been putting anything out since then, they just haven't landed on a follow up that they feel is viable/hasn't had roadblocks. I have no reason to doubt that but doesn't matter much to me either way.
So, is their patreon page deleted or is there something wrong with patreon/the link? Either way, considering that there hasn't been a word from them for more than 2 months and their past record, I guess it is safe to assume tat this one is abandoned too? Sad, that Bright Sun went from such a promising dev to this.

Patreon page is deleted.
I saw it coming, the dev painted themselves into a corner they couldn't get out of. They were only in this for the money but not willing to wait. They didn't want to build up naturally like everyone else and expected each 0.1 to bring in hundreds of players.
Nobody is going to back a dev with a list of abandoned games.
