Unfortunately we are forced to abandon the project, too many commitments do not allow us to continue its development.
As if this wasn't enough, Patreon complained about the content of our title by blocking the page even though it was temporarily suspended by us.
For this reason we would like to thank everyone who supported us and who gave ideas and suggestions for the creation of the title, we are only sorry that we are not able to continue.

Another good game abandoned....
I know it's unpleasant, from a player's point of view (as I am) it's really frustrating, but from a developer's point of view there are many facets that can't be understood from being "on the other side".

Producing these games is both time-consuming and cost-intensive.
We started this title for fun, released it completely free without expecting any revenue, and worked on it as long as we could.

Now life has put a very important new (paid) project in front of us and we are forced to concentrate all our strength on this project.

I was a game designer and some most important games are my idea. Don't underestimate to be rigid when you develop a game or a project. It's the main rule to learn before starting something in your life.
Good luck

I'll keep in on my drive to remind me it's here, just in case you return. Like you said, never say never. :D

But yes, prioritize yourselves first. If it's meant to be, hopefully you'll be back.

officially this game is abandoned ?
Yes it is. I am the programmer of Day by Day, ReplayTech does not exist anymore we are focusing on another project.

I still have some free time, so I decided to create my own game.
It will be softer than Day by Day and I may take a while to develop it.
I took insipration from games like Big Brother, Man of the House and similar.

This is a preview of the mom of the house.

I will soon create a new page and show my progress.

The devs bit off more than they could chew having 4 protagonists. They should have just focused on the mom, and let the mom influence their decisions. The game had a lack of focus and was narratively all over the place.

We loved the chance to create something different from the usual wanker's game and we had fun making it.
What we underestimated, however, was the amount of renderings to be made.
For example, we decided to use a lot of renders during the dialogues, this excessively increased the amount of renders to be made, becoming stressful.
In the end the game was at 10/15% of the story and already had more than 4500 renders.

Obviously you may or may not like our idea, but this was what we wanted to achieve and we tried.

I don't understand why a good game is pushed aside and then a new one is started again. Consistency is a foreign word for many developers. Unsteady like a flag in the wind.
Honestly we did answer this question multiple times... Anyway here is there answer:
We received a huge (for us at least) paid project, so our free time now is very spare.
We (as a team) decided to stop this project to focus on the paid one, since we were doing Day by Day just for fun.

I personally have some free time, since I am not allowed to keep working on Day by Day, I will start a new and easier game.
