Can i ask, is this some transition between ground geometry and HDRI background or it is HDRI only?
P.S. On second thought, i think it is HDRI only.

I rendered this background with this camera and lights without the models and it took nearly 10hrs to finish and when I have to render several hours on the Models too and then have to do the work to merge I'm not sure I can gain time by that. I will be abandoning this idea for now. I'll stick with one scene/one render for the time being. Thanks for the tip though.

i use cpu only too and all renders i do
with environment do i render only for 2hours and it looks good

I used my stimulus check to buy a new pc with a RTX 2060. Now I can do 4k renders in 5 minutes; when it would take me 5 hours. So who's the really stupid person here?you really get a new graphics card ? in this time ?

oh okay this is really old but for this you doing great
you can try to set a higher quality 500 and a converged ratio from 50-60%
this helped me a lot
but don‘t know it will work with a even older cpu as mine

When I had my pc built the components were not top of the line but they were in a higher than average range. I didn't have this kind of use in mind back then so it's surprising to me this machine is even capable of what I'm asking of it. I will try that quality setting thing thanks for the tip. This example needed 18hrs rendertime. I did render it at way oversized frame with 10000x6667 because I wanted to reduce the noise when making a smaller copy.

Thats not a family... Those are random people you got off the street and paid them for this shoot.
But if their connection is good it may become some sort of family, keep your camera ready for if that happens.
