Hoping to see where that leads to
Yepp that be it just goofin and wasting time a little...inside the model, looks like Golden Palace
It's difficult to see into the water AND see a reflection at the same time at such an equal value as you have here. I thought her right leg was a reflection of a third arm until I thought more about it.There is something just not right with this and I can't put my finger on it...
Reelections are perfect (to me) but seems off .

The reflections may be technically right, it's hard to tell, but it's like one of those photos from reddit's confusing perspectives. The reflection intersects too much with her body underwater, i would just turn her around. There is something just not right with this and I can't put my finger on it...

It's not the reflection, that looks good, and having had a hot tub I know the water isn't right, unless all of the jets are off, and the pump also. I'm thinking it is the ambient lighting. I did forget to change the sky, but this one does sort of work out.. I'm stumped. I will say that this scene set has gave me headaches from the start with every thingIt's difficult to see into the water AND see a reflection at the same time at such an equal value as you have here. I thought her right leg was a reflection of a third arm until I thought more about it.
Have you looked at photos of people in hot tubs to compare real life examples and your art?
At different angles, you are going to get different values of reflection and refraction.
Going for an eye level, but can rise it some and ditch the overhead to see what happens......The reflections may be technically right, it's hard to tell, but it's like one of those photos from reddit's confusing perspectives. I definitely like playing around with different setups all the time but I end up getting impatient with how heavily daz studio can start chugging even on simple scenes when you start changing a lot of stuff around.Thank you. There's lots of stuff on youtube regarding lighting...both for Daz and photography in general. I like to play with hard lighting and strong shadows but it's really just best to experiment with different ideas.
The reflections seem strong and refractions appear reasonable (it's harder to tell), so I might suggest cutting down on the surface reflections towards more clarity of the water. That kind of pool situation with brighter lighting will show through the water more than offer a mirror of the environment. There is something just not right with this and I can't put my finger on it...

My first impression is that the water surface is to smooth, maybe rip a bump map from another surface and apply that to the water (adjust the strength as needed). And, the refraction strength is too strong. There is something just not right with this and I can't put my finger on it...
