Genesis 8 doesn't look much better out of the box either to be fair
4090 supposedly is nearly 2x rendering speed of 3090ti, but this whole G9 switch cost is quickly getting out of hand...

Maybe their designing the G9 for the new RTX 5090 that will be out in a few years....
one thing you gotta give to G9 - dialing in expressions is so much easier and they look much more natural than the previous ones, but then again that is just comparing to older Daz products, not other options out there
edit: just noticed another thing I don't like, so I see the lips are a bit dry, used to just go to surfaces on the older Genesis and play around with lip surface, G9 - Nope, the whole face and neck is one surface...
edit2: subd3 on this one, sub2 on hair to make it smoother, 5min to 500 samples on 3080
