One thought that has been coming up as I do these backbending postures is hopefully there is more fucntionality in posing the neck because the current way that rotations work at the three joints does not do a good job of reflecting what happens in the neck when doing things like jalandhara bandha. Although I will have to focus more attention to bending the upper most par t of the chest and I haven't done any moving of pectorals yet so that might help in making things look half decent.
