If you can find a transparent image of the handprint, or create one. You might be able to add it as a Iray decal node the the garment.

It took some doing, and enlisting help with making a handprint. Then a few hours messing with different iterations that didn't work as described in the video... I or we finely came up with a version of a hand print that somewhat showed up right and may work if can be tweaked a little more.. It isn't as easy as he made it seem

One iteration that wasn't quit there yet...



This version may work for what I need... but needs some tweaking.

Yoga Kneeling Forward Folds Series - Childs Pose - Balasana 4 variations
Wanted to start setting up a studio environment. Have a long way to go to get it to work well but this is my first multi character render. Also started to learn how to use canvases. This is going to take some tweaking to get the lighting to a way I like it. And Iam not much a fan of that floor gloss.
