I wouldn't call it one post...I was not expecting more than 100 likes in my first post here.
You could always put more than 1 in a single post, and there's a spoiler tag if you don't want them to take up a full page.

I'm using Daz3d because everybody here is using Daz3d, so it's easier to find content and help for this soft.I was not expecting more than 100 likes in my first post here. Thank you very much for your support. Here is a bonus shot for you. Water and glass made by 3ds Max. Particles from Maya. Are you thirsty?

MD is Marvelous Designer. A software specificalyy for cloth an cloth simulations.I'm using Daz3d because everybody here is using Daz3d, so it's easier to find content and help for this soft.
Maya, 3DSMAX, MD (what is MD ?) and Substance are difficult to use ?
Where are your characters came from ?
Are a you a professionnal ?
I can't compare Daz3D with Maya or 3Dsmax. They are in different leagues. Difficult? I can't tell you. Not difficult but more complicated. It's up to you. What you want from them. On contraire. I'm more pumped up than ever, just to replecate those renders and try to achieve good results only with blender and Daz3d.After seeing those renders, my little self-esteem dropped inevitably to the lowest floors, vanishing completely. Seriously.

Lucky you xDOn contraire. I'm more pumped up than ever, just to replecate those renders and try to achieve good results only with blender and Daz3d.
I wouldn't call it Different leagues. More like different focus. Like COD is a different focus than Skyrim. Most professionals will use Zbrush, Surface Painter, Daz3D, MD Cinemablend Phoroshop. Because they all do one thing great but do others average or below average.I can't compare Daz3D with Maya or 3Dsmax. They are in different leagues. Difficult? I can't tell you. I rendered them with DAZ3D. Yes.
Pro? i'm freelancer. Don't feel myself as pro. still learning.
There is no need to be despondent. Having limited processing power will reduce the complexity of the scene, however it won't necessarily limit the quality of what you can produce. Whilst ZinT has more rendering skills than most of us, including myself, it gives us something to aspire to. Given that his renders are for single characters, I believe you could render these using 8GB RAM. The results that are achieved are from superior textures, posing and lighting.Lucky you xD
Unfortunately, due to my current specs I can't really try and do some good renders, more than what I did so far. 8 GB of RAM it's really pointless for a "eating-program-ram" such as Daz.
I totally agree with you. I created most of my renders with my first generation i5 CPU with 8GB RAM and GTX470 GPU. Yes tech specs are important but they are just tools. They are nothing without you. Just keep focusing. If you need any help you can ask anytime. That's why we are using forum sites like f95There is no need to be despondent. Just enjoy what you create and continuously try to improve.
The problem is that I enjoy create "complex" scenes, like something sci-fi or.. say.. something like a fight with possibly the best lighting but it's not even that (because in the end those don't create that much of a problem). The problem are the clothes, the hairs, the environment, and such that weigh so much on what I can do and the spec that I have, and most of the time.. I just get tired of waiting. I get tired because if I try to load the iray preview takes five to ten minutes, and this happens even when I don't have any environment or such but just dress and hair (and before you ask, yes, I already tried and use the scene optimizer but honestly that doesn't work at all. I follow the instructions, but nothing changes). There is no need to be despondent. Please don't compare Daz3d with Max or Maya. Of course they are different. First of all you can only create primitives with Daz. But you have no limit on Max or Maya on modelling. This is enough to show how they have big difference between each other. You can do everything with Max which Daz does. but it is not possible for DAZ.I wouldn't call it Different leagues. Well DAZ trys to become a suite with different softwares, like hexagon. But they have a long way before them. And that's why I start to transition to blender. So much more power, and other than Max or Maya, far more progressive community, b/c less money is involved. Please don't compare Daz3d with Max or Maya. Of course they are different. And Bethesda (Skyrim Creator) using 3DS Max for creating 3D characters. DAZ is cool for rendering. nothing more.
