Post processed in Photoshop, you can add a text layer then an FX to that layer and either emboss or engrave the text as well as all sorts of blending options. Painter has the same feature.
If it's only one or two, Photoshop. If it's a huge batch, Lightroom.
Flip a coin to see who's sitting north and who's sitting south?

A little "insight" on my "workflow".
Three images, from the raw, untouched render (Iray), to the final result.
First, is, of course, the raw render.
Second, is the "standard" procedure, which, for the most part, is automated into a macro, for speed.
And, finally, the third, is the final version, after handpicked action passes through photoshop
