And yet the development is not a complete dumpster fire like Summer Time Saga for example. I really don't get the hate for the game, there are so many worse projects out there.

I think it's the disappointment of how the demo was really, really good and the actual game was mediocre.

It's certainly not bad, but I think that demo set expectations really high and when the actual game didn't meet them, people got upset.

Plus, the anti piracy stuff rubs people the wrong way on this site.
The dev is certainly entitled to protect his game from piracy and I don't begrudge him for it. But a lot of people think it's absolutely outrageous.
Funny how users feel entitled to get a game for free.

Maybe you didn't follow their development of the game, just saw the end product - an mediocre game doesn't hurt anybody.
People dislike them for not being a game developer with integrity:
1. There are way worse projects out there doesn't make a bad project any better;
2. They used deceiving and misleading demo - which doesn't really present their game - for crowdfunding;
3. They also used other very shaddy anti-consumer practices along their fund-raising campaign;
4. They are not genuine about their development, there are multiple lies they told along the line;
5. Developing customer DRM is not wrong by any means - their game they decide how they want to monetise. But it put you into perspectives where their focus lies - they don't care about game quality nor the customers, only the money.
  • If you like the other guy that hs no clue about the nature of DRM - yes it hampers game performances and costumer experiences. It's not even about piracy.
6. According to multiple people from their discord, they also don't respect their community who is not a "Yes-Man".

FYI, "Uncle Neighbour" is a mediocre game that also used customer DRM, but you don't see people hating that game.
Coolpeng is a developer that makes mediocre games and sell at stupidly high prices, but you also don't see people hating that game.
I wonder why :KEK:

I see you hating that game AND it's anti piracy system in the same message. Would you look at that?
From the Uncle Neighbor thread:
You should ask on their official site like steam if they have a better official Eng version.
Since this game is no where near "good", and has a bizarre anti-pirating system, I doubt anyone would do a "Fan made translation".

But as the writing is terrible even in their original Language, I doubt there'll be a refined Eng translation :ROFLMAO:
Let's be honest, the only thing good about this one is serviceable arts. If you think the writing is " unplayable", I'd either ignore it, or just move on.

I don't get that at all, sorry. They even refunded people who had problems with the DRM or the strange backing system they used.
I'm not even disagreeing on most of your points, the demo was very good and the finished product is just double the size, give or take. Though I'm not sure how it was deceiving. The rest of the game plays exactly like that, the writing doesn't improve or get worse. It's more of the same.

At least they care about finishing the game, there are also bugfixes, for me that's all I need from a developer with integrity. Yes-Man communities are extremly common in this niche market, if the developers themselves don't expect one, the hardcore fans will provide it anyways.

Maybe it's time to make peace with it and simply leave this game behind.

Is there any plans to update this thread to the newer versions? The game has progressed massively since the version here and I'd love to see more!
I don't think there will be any updates about this game anytime soon since the dev put up some anti-piracy DRM to protect it from people who haven't bought the game... though I still hope one day it gets cracked and I can finally play the NSFW version of it.

I got something like 20 hours of gameplay for testing all routes and special events, not to mention you can "screw" things in many ways and have different CGs. I had your same doubts but the game was more than worth its value (Frank's rescue mission only for me was more than worth it, woof!).

With some messing around with some tools for fun, I've managed to go past the opening black screen, but since the base game is the SFW version, and it looks like you need to go through multiple online checks to enable the NSFW patch, a crack seems hard to do.
Maybe playing offline with a save shared by someone who bought the game would work (assuming the DLC is not saved in a ridiculous way like hardware specific). But with how protective the dev seems I wouldn't really advise someone who paid to share that stuff.
Maybe for the full release it'll be easier to crack, unless he keeps that "email me to get a code" method even for it.

Wait what do you mean empty promise? I checked on Itch.io they still going and somehow it looks good. Too bad it's too pricey and it's like when I was a child looking at expensive toys only from the shop windows, lol
from what I've seen of the game it's not worth the cost and the amount of CG they have is disappointing, it's like "super health club" but at least they had the decency to go bankrupt

Super health club is kinda good tho, not great but still enjoyable at least for me since the plot and porn felt like half done. Is it hot tho? Dead dating I mean. LoL

Do you know where I could find the cracked non-debugged version of Super Health Club? I used to have it but after my laptop broke I lost it
