I see you hating that game AND it's anti piracy system in the same message. Would you look at that?Maybe you didn't follow their development of the game, just saw the end product - an mediocre game doesn't hurt anybody.
People dislike them for not being a game developer with integrity:
1. There are way worse projects out there doesn't make a bad project any better;
2. They used deceiving and misleading demo - which doesn't really present their game - for crowdfunding;
3. They also used other very shaddy anti-consumer practices along their fund-raising campaign;
4. They are not genuine about their development, there are multiple lies they told along the line;
5. Developing customer DRM is not wrong by any means - their game they decide how they want to monetise. But it put you into perspectives where their focus lies - they don't care about game quality nor the customers, only the money.
6. According to multiple people from their discord, they also don't respect their community who is not a "Yes-Man".
- If you like the other guy that hs no clue about the nature of DRM - yes it hampers game performances and costumer experiences. It's not even about piracy.
FYI, "Uncle Neighbour" is a mediocre game that also used customer DRM, but you don't see people hating that game.
Coolpeng is a developer that makes mediocre games and sell at stupidly high prices, but you also don't see people hating that game.
I wonder why![]()
From the Uncle Neighbor thread:
You should ask on their official site like steam if they have a better official Eng version.
Since this game is no where near "good", and has a bizarre anti-pirating system, I doubt anyone would do a "Fan made translation".
But as the writing is terrible even in their original Language, I doubt there'll be a refined Eng translation
Let's be honest, the only thing good about this one is serviceable arts. If you think the writing is " unplayable", I'd either ignore it, or just move on.
