I understand your point of view, I really do. But still, I'm not trying to chase the approval of negative people, I want to make a game, to listen to the community and to the players in order to make the game evolve in a good way. And the majority of feedback I had about those scenes was negative comments, so the question is: should I really put so much time and efforts into those scenes if the majority of the players who are supporting me don't want to have them?

Well, I'm making a poll about it on my patreon page for the supporters; so now the fate of those scenes are in their hands.

Honestly I think your best bet is to make the vanilla version as the official version on Patreon (also changing the mom/sis to stepmom/stepsis because Patreon don't like that stuff either) and at the same time develop a "fan made" patch you can post here or elsewhere to add the variety back in as a few other have suggested. That would also serve to appease the group who don't want it in the game even if you warn them and make it avoidable. It's the closest to a win/win/win scenario you are going to get.

If you take it in the same direction you were headed, or if you take it in the direction of no monster/rape you will lose a lot of support either way.

Wow... Hot Tomato if you're removing the moster scenes because of patreon it's ok... But if the cause is the two groups arguing about the zombies scenes nothing will change, people will still complain about the NTR scenes, usually because for them it's a waste of time making those scenes, like making multiple paths with lesbian On, NTR on etc... You said that the story is focused in the MC and his family in a cruel world, for me that's Great! I think the zombie rape with a game over (or not) make way more sense in the plot, than adding many NTR scenes, but in the end, I think that if you had made that clear from the beginning, it would have avoided that.

I like this game a lot. It has a lot going for it.

The only point that I would make as a response is for you to stand up for your game in exactly the way that you intended to make it. Everyone can see there's a lot of work gone into it. All the more reason that bowing to pressure or anyone's will shouldn't be part of the equation. It's entirely your game and vision. Keep it that way. Additionally, everyone makes mistake and that's part of the curve.

This has some similar qualities to Kindred - The Redburns [Sadly Abandoned] which I like equally. My two cents worth.

Power vacuum is a good example, the MC gets most scenes, but every update has 2 NTR\Rape game over scenes, it's avoidable, creates tension in your choices, doesn't take too much time and i don't see people arguing all the time about this in the thread. Just removing at this point is to shooting yourself in the foot

Idea is good, something uniqe. There is a ton of vanilla games and people with different preferences. Do your job and create your game for those who liked your game from the beginning, those are your true fans. They have been with you at the beggining of the project knowing about your plans. I don't know why people which don't like this idea are still here, only to complain and try to change your game. When I see some tags that are not in my type I will just not play the game at the beginning (maybe later), but for sure I won't hate the game because of that.

Omg..... very sad to hear this. i hope the monsters sex scenes can still remains as previous like when you choose the wrong path/options etc. These type of Monsters scenes makes this game unique and i do really like your work so far.

Perhaps you can have a version optional to activate/deactivate monsters rape options lke (Monsters On/Off)

The people who complain about it show up only for a week after an update and then they go on to other games.
I have read many conversations on here about the actual plot and not just the monster sex scenes or even the sex scenes at all. People who are actually moved by the plot, the characters and most of all your writing.

Suffice to say your game is probably the top 0.1 percent on here when it comes to writing.

It's hard to imagine that people people ignore all that and complain about only certain sections of the game.

But guess what?

I've never ever come across a game on this site where someone hasn't complained about something inane. I have seen them complain about too many words, not enough words, writing being too dark, writing not being dark enough, renders being too good( resulting in bigger game size/smaller updates), renders not being good enough. And of course NTR.

When I first came across this game, I was taken aback by the art style. But I didn't come to complain about it here. I stuck with the story. And boy was it worth it. And then the art grew and grew on me until I genuinely enjoyed it and didn't just put up with it for the sake of the story.

So when a creator of your calibre makes compromises because some nincompoops couldn't keep their traps shut, it is genuinely disheartening. Because I know once these idiots are gone in about a week people are going to be talking about how they enjoyed the game in it's entirety or make actually thoughtful criticisms.

But end of day, it's your decision. Best of luck to you. And congratulations on yet another fantastic update.

I don't think patreon ban "all" rape. It's mainly if you promote it, like it's a good thing, or if it's the MC doing it.

Personally its not my cup of tea but it doesnt bother me either. That being said, you shouldnt listen to a bunch of crybabies. You should do whatever you want with YOUR GAME. Also, you can have an option at the start of the game for people to turn it off if they want. I've seen some devs do it here and there.

Dev said the game is about the mc and feels like it derailed to much. People think it was just a monster rape game but that is not what the dev intended and made it clear that is not what they want. I feel if the intent was not a monster rape story then this change will be good to focus on the mc and story that dev wants to tell.

That's the best compromise I can find. I don't want to betray the people who supported me for the monster sex scenes BUT just remember it will never be a big part of the game, I want to be honest. For example, there is no monster sex scenes planned at least for the next two updates in the "fan made" version. The Main character is the focus.

Because the majority of feedback I had about them was negative. And I can understand their point, these scenes can be hard for some players, I mean, we all have our trauma and fears. I should have made two versions of the game since the start.
