That's the best compromise I can find. I don't want to betray the people who supported me for the monster sex scenes BUT just remember it will never be a big part of the game, I want to be honest. For example, there is no monster sex scenes planned at least for the next two updates in the "fan made" version. The Main character is the focus.
I'm completely confused, who is the problem in the end, Patreon - ?; Patreons? we see that no, they want the game to remain unchanged; haters? it’s clear with them, they want to ban everything that is not a vanilla trend.
In general, the whole situation is so stupid, scenes that can be avoided from the beginning of the game have become a problem for those who do not want to see them. That is, they hate these scenes, refuse to ignore them, watch them and then pour dirt on everyone. This is such nonsense that it does not fit in my head.
These 2 versions, official and kind of fan, the point is clear. One moment is not clear, that in the end this fan version is simply frozen in fact for half a year (2 updates is about half a year)? After all, there will be no patches in it, as already mentioned, for the next 2 updates? Why is it needed then, or will it just be the same version as the official one + the monster scenes (which are out now)?
I don’t understand, no one asked for 5 scenes with monsters in each update, the game went on as usual, the plot continued, the history of the MC directly, these scenes did not interfere with the plot in any way. Scenes with monsters were added 1 per update and 3-5 with incest content + main story. And everyone was happy, except for a handful of the most dissatisfied. There were scenes with monsters before 0.4 and 0.5 versions, as far as I remember, and the game has been developing since then and there have been more fans, as well as more patrons. These scenes have been in the game for a very long time, almost from the very beginning. And it's no longer clear why people who dislike the game so much still play it. They certainly wouldn't become Patreons if they didn't like something. And the voting confirmed that people liked it and did not interfere, because if you don’t like it, you can simply avoid it, it’s just an ideal option. And now suddenly, everything that worked well needs to be changed - a strange decision.
In fact, the official name of the game is now Kindread: The Redburns 2.0, and not Deadmoon Survival (now this is the name for a fan game). After all, the rules within the world have changed. This is about uniqueness.
In the end, I don’t know what will come out of this, thanks to the patrons and the developer for not breaking the game? but unfortunately it didn’t work out to leave the game unchanged.
