Honestly really sad this got ghosted.. Insane potential, and would love for nothing more to keep the story going. Hopefully we can get some closure from Ruykiru, but it will never be what it "could have been". Or maybe it will eventually, we can always dream.

Appears so but the co dev maybe cooking something up for fan service ending. The current content there is still great if you enjoy slow burn and lesbian action. It’s still worth a play through imo.

At this stage, unless he returns to Patreon with some kind of announcement, this AVN will not get the ending the original dev intended.
It is possible that a co-dev (Ruykiru) could try to give this AVN an ending but he does not have access to all the resources of the dev.
He already has his own AVN that he is working on/has commitments to his $ supporters to keep.
I can't speak to all of what might change, just that there would be model changes, among other things, if he decides to give Deadmoon Survival an ending.

Does the game need an ending now though? How about a bunch more sex scenes, particularly some 3-ways with the twins, and maybe some more zombie killing. If Ruykiru feels inspired to attempt that, I for one would be more than happy. Plus he's got the models and could do it during his downtime from Sinful Summer. I'd leave it to Ruykiru to decide how to tackle this.
I don't know his preferences but what you are asking for seems more open ended and without closure.
I also don't know what he knows/does not know about the broader story/supernatural elements of DS/the intended ending - it could be that he has the roadmap, story-wise, from Hot Tomato.
I'll leave it to him on how to best honor the legacy of Deadmoon Survival.

Baseless and pathetic accusation against someone who is developing a far more lucrative game under their own name. Tell us exactly how Ruykiru gains by this game not having the abandoned tag or take your slanderous nonsense somewhere else.
Youre wrong. Ruykiru was a big fan of the game first and foremost and wanted to give fans somewhat of a closure. Friendship and money had nothing to do with it since Tomato ghosted him and Ruykiro doesn’t have access to Hot Tomatoes subscribstar account.
Evidence is join both Sinful Summer and Deadmoon discords and read comments from September till now.
it’s not some grand conspiracy.
