Major spells that were added are Body-Control & Gender-Bender Spells.
Body-Control gives you the ability to control the character body. All characters share the same clothing unless their body type is unique. Using Body-Control spell you can have unique interactions. Almost all characters can be controlled unless it's explained by the plot. You might ask how am I going to add visuals like animations and renders to this, if there are so many variations? I'm going to re-use renders and animations in scenes that don't have a written event for it. What I mean is that, there are events that can only be available if you control a certain character and for this types of events there are gonna be unique renders and animations, but also there are some interactions that any characters can share and for such scenes I'm going to use same renders, but with different skin/nails/hair colors that are specific for the characters that are appear in the scene, I also plan to add visuals appearance of clothing during these scenes.
Gender-Bender spell lets you change the physical form of MC from male to female and back, the spell doesn't require anything to cast, using it is optional, and if you don't want to use it it's up to you. There is also gonna be a spell that lets you grow a penis in female form.
Other spells are mostly for getting more variety of events and managing consequences. Some spells help in combat or having more control within events. One of the spells, for example, changes vision of mc that is usually used for lighting up interactable objects and with this spell the vision allows to x-ray thin objects like clothing, so you can spot interesting things on characters, like plugs and such.

Duh. That's a news post from 1 year ago. And we're still in the prologue.
And how is the development speed gonna be if every scene needs to be drawn twice - male MC and female MC?
So either the udpates are gonna take twice as long, 1+ year instead of 6+ months. Or one side is getting the short stick.
And my experience with games featuring "optional" LGBT content says that the hetero stuff always gets cut first.

So this is supposedly for v 0.3.5
As the latest version is v 0.3.7 it should be already implemented I guess. Strange that the changelog in the OP does not mention it for 3.5...
Well I think I will give this a go then and see where it leads me.

It's interesting how other characters would react to sudden changes from male to female form and back. I hope it'd blend into the plot somehow, otherwise it's just a preference gimmic with no purpose.

Sounds like he just wants to quickly wrap up the existing plot strings and be done with the game.

To me it sounds like hes cutting back on the scope of the gameplay to focus on just delivering the story he wants to tell. You can tell by whats currently here he had hopes to make a pretty in depth rpg with various mechanics it would have been interesting to see where it was going but honestly not very realistic to accomplish without getting some serious funding to justify all the work itd take.

I hope that's the case. I really hated the update when he started adding all those items with weights and stupid shit like that.

That was an explanation when the Freeroam system was introduced.
But the previous update also took 5 months, didn't use the freeroam mode, was a plain VN plot.
And the only sex scene was a mere shadow of what an older update provided. Seems to be the general trend, devs padding out updates for progressively longer timeframes, with less and less playable content.
AAAH MAAAAN! JENUARY?? Damn, i was really excited to the new release, this game is so good, i guess you can't quicken perfection.
