RPGM Completed DEEP BRAIN [Final] [GPOINT GAME]

Now I wanna start by saying that this is an S+ tier game that has prestiged and looped back around to me criticizing it on a level above everything else on this website. This is fucking fantastic and my only real complaint is that I wanted more of it. This is art, and so I'm going to critique it like art and not like hentai slop.

It's really short, and that can be fine if you manage to say everything you want to say in a short time but I don't feel that we were given enough time to let all these ideas really marinate the way they could if the game had better writing and pacing. This game has incredible ideas with breathtaking art, but I feel like the second it gets an idea onto the screen it's already making it's way onto the next one without really letting you get your teeth into what you're currently looking at.

My biggest example for this is the front desk receptionist being converted into the flesh battery thing. There could have been a lot more going on with that idea, but all we got out of it was a few lines of dialogue and a choice to kill or spare her that doesn't actually effect anything beyond locking you out of an ending. I feel like we ironically don't get to spend any time in the main character's head either. She's literally raped like 3 minutes into the game and the extent of what she has to say is "who can help me?" which is lazily repeated through all the rape scenes like a catchphrase spammed instead of giving the characters any depth. She legitimately acts like being sexually assaulted is no big deal and doesn't even try that hard to avoid it happening. This game is beautiful to look at but frustrating to read. The characters feel like cardboard cutouts who don't have any thoughts or feelings beyond what moves the scene along to the next concept art idea for us to look at before it's ditched for the next one and so on. Those ideas are awesome and illustrated masterfully, it's a very strong addition to the portfolio of this team and a great proof of concept for their future work, but going into a game a player expects a strong narrative and fleshed out characters.

I don't get passionate like this about games that I think are bad, I'm only bothering to say this because I see an enormous amount of potential here. Please keep creating, the art is next level and the ideas are there but try to work on pacing and developing the ideas rather than just hitting all the bullet points and moving on. I am sincerely looking forward to what this team creates in the future. Thank you for making this great game.

I love this weird creature body horror style whatever it's called, the weird almost non human mutations and this more unsettling horror theme with the subject this game does is something I wish to see more in NSFW games then just typical NSFW stuff, or the typical monster is some basic fantasy monster like an oger or something, I want to find more games like this and I hope the developer does more with this kind of thing. Just get weird with it to stand out from the rest of the games.

I've always been into disturbing horror, I loved things like Dead Space, Silent Hill, and many other things that take horror to a more disturbing way, Silent Hill for using peoples personalities, fears and desires, having monsters being sexual but creepy, grotesque, deformed and something that you could see resembles some part of a human, Dead Space having the concept of zombies but ramping it up, 1 key thing about zombies that makes them a good horror creature is the fact it's an infection, someone you knew or loved could turn and attack you, the infected isn't just some monster but was someone, maybe no one of importance to you but was to someone else, and on top of that you can become one to, Necromophs took that and distorted it making the body break and deform, making the person unrecognisable bar from a few features that remain, their shape and form unnatural giving off an unsettling feeling,. As weird as it is, Horror and NSFW are the genres I like, Silent Hill felt like it slightly merged the two, and I have always been inspired by those type of games, I wish I did more with my 3D modelling as I always think of some weird deigns mixing horror and NSFW, so seeing a game like this I was really interested and loved it so much, but was disappointed how short it was and that that's it.

I know it's messed up and this game is a very very required tastes kind of thing, and I can understand that, I browed this site and NSFW stuff on steam a lot, and even though I played a lot and brought a bunch, I always love when I find a game that stands out like this, the problem I find for myself with a lot of NSFW games is the characters and world lean to much into porn logic, I understand they are porn games and so will have that logic, they are in worlds where everyone is fucking and sex is like saying hello to someone, but I got tired of some games trying to dive into more out there tastes but suffering from this "Sex is as common as breathing" thing for example Whorecraft, there was moments in it where characters pretended to be sneaking off or doing it in private, or a character is cheating on their partner, but those things have no weight because everyone is banging so openly and no one cares, so why be sneaky at that point, and people in relationships are banging other people so openly like cheating isn't even a thing, so having a scene with a character being unfaithful just loses it's point, this also goes with sexual assault and forced stuff, it doesn't work when the character isn't fazed by it or openly likes it, it's where those games suffer from porn logic to much.

This game though, it's seen as gorse, unwanted, and a nightmare, this game doesn't suffer from porn logic to much, sex isn't something people see as greeting someone, the subject matter in this game takes it a bit more seriously, the situation isn't some fun sex adventure and the characters hate it, seem traumatised at points, it's not something most people would stomach but because this game doesn't treat it as a thing to shrug off, it has impact in a weird way, the monsters aren't some hunky mostly human design, the scenes aren't romantic or natural, they are messed up, disgusting and unsettling, it's like someone took Dead Spaces horror design and made it that the monsters violate instead of eat or kill, this is a weird comment to post and it feels weird writing it, but I think that's why this game stands out, because it's unnatural, does something different and stands out.

I want more games like this and I always try and look out for more like this, I do hope the creator does more, or even expands on this world, have more choices and outcomes next time, more scenes maybe, the only things I would say negatively about this game is 1. it's to short, 2. even though I said it doesn't go to deep into porn logic, and the characters do react negatively to the violation, they do seem to not be to fazed or get over it quite quick then they should, 3. a lot of still images, doesn't bother me to much, I know animating is hard, specially with an art style like this, tween might make it look jank or goofy, but I feel at least a few extra frames, instead of just 1, 2, maybe 3 or 4, so instead of 1 thrust 2 pull, it would be 1 thrust 2 deep, 3 pull 4 out, would just give a bit more.
