It's already a management game, might as well add more for the main character to do.
The additional machines to make our own parts just seemed like a natural expansion after you put in the 3D printed arms and legs. You could have multiple levels of said machines, or programming and nozzles for the machines.
Tier 1 - prints those crappy plastic parts, requires plastic filament that costs a few dollars per those parts.
Tier 2 - prints better versions of the crappy plastic parts, requires more or more expensive filament for a bit more expense per part.
Tier 3 - ?? Plastan parts maybe with commensurate cost increase per part? Maybe requires a license to manufacture.

I guess it will be mix of your skills+specific parts expertise+blueprints/license. And obviously manufacturing tools tiers indeed.
May become quite big thing on itself, i guess. Maybe i will even make it main (if not only) way to get parts with custom special effects. There will be part (default stats and effects), you can find or buy it. And part will have 1-3 special effects slots, almost always empty by default. With manufacturing tools you may be able to add new ones there.
Now what i think about it, remind me of diablo runes
Again, this is just an idea, but i like concept and probably will do something like.
It would probably require either 3d renders or a porn star that has a visual record of changes, but I could easily see some customer coming to a sexbot mechanic and telling them "give it bigger tits" (or smaller, for that matter).
Not sure how well that would fit in the current framework though.

I had another thought; after you purchase the shop you should also be able to expend money to increase the comfort of your surroundings with entertainment options and possibly better bedding. A hot tub etc are also options and installing these things could provide benefits of some sort?
Maybe a better bed gives you extra AP or the like, toys increase Sex training experience that sort of thing?
Also maybe set it up so a higher skill level in the Sex skill makes it less likely you cause damage when doing said training?

With a name like Defective Sexbot Chop Shop, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I'm glad that I gave this game a chance. As bare bones as it is, I love everything I'm seeing so far from the many skills and brands of parts you're working with (which makes sense; the more you work with a certain manufacturer, the more you understand their hardware philosophy and I'm glad to see such a thing implemented in the game) to being able to mix and match parts on the bot. I could see a lot of min-maxing potential for a certain role build.

Vanilla will be mostly human-like, maybe with some robotic flair for some bots, modders can add whatever they like.
I operated under the belief that it depends on the parts,
A bot with all E tier parts looks like a real doll that's walking around while a bot with all S tier parts is physically indistinguishable from a human short of an x-ray or cutting it open.
In any case time to share my mod, no longer W.I.P now in beta it:
Incorporates the original models mod
Adds 7 new models of bot (1 C, 2 B, 2 A, 1 S)
Adds 22 new parts with defects
totally blows out the games balance.
Still need to balance the spawn rates especially at the higher tiers.
You will have to provide your own images, easy enough to do with Reddit, Handbreak and VLC Media player.

My personal favorites are the parts that were originally designed with non sexual needs in mind but found a use in the sex bot market.
Like the Med-tech arms which have sensors to monitor vital signs in the finger tips. Designed for nurse / doc bots the sex market realized their bots could perform better by monitoring the users vitals (heart rate, perspiration, Blood o2) so it knows without being told when climax is approaching and can back off and delay it or induce it depending parameters such as Perspiration, how long the session has gone on and how tired the human is (as measured by vital signs).
Any way feel free to steal from it in the main game if you want dude.

About those preview images, could you maybe provide a default one? ie. if there is none in the mod instead of braking the view it would display a black square for a moment. You could also go with transparent or the same texture as the background.

Anny chance for a image pack in the future, or is that size wise to big for a upload or torrent? Personaly not very knowledgeable with puzzling such a set of images together, hence my question.

I get an exception error when entering Robo/6 Club, does it have to do with the other mod from Polip1339 I installed or what?!? I also get an error when trying to sell a bot att the Flee Market (even if I never actually do that), but there atleast I can click Ignore and then it works.. Greatful if anyone could help..

Quick response on my own post above. I think i figured out how to do it by looking at Polip's mod and copying the assets map structure. For those interested, a older game on here and other sites called Whoremaker has several packs of varying genre's, including real porn and some hentai stuff. These packs contain a map full with images you could use to make your own mods here with because the follow a similar setup (as in images labeled sex1, bj3, etc). The only downside is that they often use "gif" images instead of webm, webp or the other recommended ones here.
A bit of work to put them together, but it could help you make a bot with images from your own favorite actresses. I wont link to it here, cause i don't know if it's allowed, but do a search and you will probaly find what i mean.

Didn't checked mod in question, but by traceback i can guess bot's rate is "b", should have been "B".
I will add kludge to cover such cases next update.
At some point i guess i will need to make some mod editor to filter/test values and make to include ffmpeg to make assets preparations easier.
I also had the same issue with the parts mod that was linked before by Squib2187, where he had used the tag "Name" instead of "name" for one part, and therefore the game didn't recognized the name of that part.
So those case-sensitive issues are just little details that modders will have to be aware of when making their mods. ^^
