How far can you get the lust stat if you don't visit the Chief Officer for therapy? I didn't wanna do the bimbo path because of the intellect loss. The Slut path doesn't seem to affect intellect but still gives you fetishes that stop you from doing things.

If the update is considered to be the release of a previous update with a new index, then yes. There is nothing new in this update.

The list of changes you see here almost exclusively consists of bug fixes, apart from the updated visuals for Kira. There's apparently zero new content.
Now, one thing I'm curious about is the updated art for Kira. I only started playing this game after the October update and so I have no clue what she looked like previously (All of the available hairstyles are absolutely terrible, by the way. I love the character model, but the hair is so...bad). Can anyone who is following this title for a while leave a comment and tell me if there's actually been changes to her appearance? Because if the preview pictures on page 01 happen to be the ones with "old" character art, I really don't see any difference at all.
Even some of the descriptions for the handful of bugfixes are vague and not very telling. I'm gonna be honest here. Considering that the last update including actual content- atleast according to other users, has been released what, 1.5 years ago(?), makes this development seem pretty weak. Most if not all of these bugfixes except for the updated character art could be done within a week or two by someone who knows what they are doing.
This developer makes more money on his Patreon than probably 95% of adult VN creators, and so I think supporters should expect more than this. The fact that I've seen many people say that there hasn't really been any progress within the past 1.5 years makes this even worse. I'm new in this thread, but judging by what I've seen so far, one could think that the developer is just collecting money while barely doing any work. People are very welcome to prove me wrong on that one, though.

I have an eternal download, music plays, a black screen and you can’t click anything, and next to the cursor there is an endless download, I tried almost everything, checking files, running as administrator, reinstalling, drivers, I don’t understand anything...

Looks like a ram issue. Try updating drivers and close programs that use a lot of memory. Might also wanna re-download it. If that doesn't work, update the drivers of your graphics card. And if that doesn't work, download the newest version of the RPGMaker runtime package.

I don't get it. What new scenes are there? The 0.496 changelog (October Update) has no mention of any new scenes. Even on Patreon, this update is mentioned as being the "first part" of Kira's art overhaul etc. Am I missing something here?

Here's the changelog for the August update. Are the 2 repeatable events the ones you refer to as "new scenes"? If so, then yeah, those were not implemented 1.5 years ago. Still, those events do not progress the story at all, and there's no new quests or anything of that nature. People who have been following this game for years are basically stuck at the end of the current storyline for god knows how long. I believe those 2 repeatable events are the ones you see in Vivarium. They can hardly even be called events in my opinion. Here, the changelog is telling us that there's apparently 458 pictures for one of them, but when you play them, you can count the amount of images on one hand basically. Maybe I'm missing out on something, but all this seems very sketchy.
For example, what the heck does "New repeatable random “harassment” event (27 pages with a ton of references, you’ll only see 1/3)" even mean? I'm assuming this refers to the guy in Vivarium grabbing Kira, fondling her titties? What are those "27 pages with a ton of references, you'll only see 1/3"? Makes absolutely zero sense to me.
"One new random male NPC (animal)" Seriously? So placing a pixel animal somewhere on the map is now considered content? Why even mention this in a changelog? Maybe to make it look like you've worked on something? I don't know.
A user who's been following this thread for a long time contacted me via PM, explaining how this is the third time Mulan is doing a complete artstyle overhaul. All this seems to me like this developer has terrible project management skills. It's basically a dog chasing his own tail with no end. Why is this latest update called the "first part" of this third overhaul? I played through the entire game a couple weeks ago, and I didn't see any of the "old" Kira art. I did encounter so many bugs that I lost count, though.
Why not introduce quests and progress the story using the new artstyle while working on any leftover "old" art on the side, gradually reworking everything over time and taking care of the countless bugs while doing so? Not only would it make fans happy, but probably satisfy the developers artistic needs aswell while actually getting something done instead of overhauling the game every year or so without making any progress on the story.
I could go back several more changelogs for updates. It all looks super weird and some of those changes make actually zero sense when you read them.

it takes time. . . and money and some people who can translate it in good way. . . if ya don't want the other language versions sounds like "Cain eat, Cain sleep" or good translator app, not GoOgLE TRaNsLaToR for sure. . . cause it translates like shit. . .

As someone who has been following this game well before I even made this account, the art overhaul situation goes way back. The changes in the October update are largely related to backend layering work. One of the biggest recent editions (the August update I believe) is the ability to mix and match outfits. There are some actual small changes related to how some things look in the October update, but they aren't entire art style changes you would immediately notice (albeit there are some clothes that changed entirely in look i.e. the Socialistic Underwear had a pretty weird change from what used to be plain raggedy underwear to some Victoria Secret kinky shit). One big one was actually Kira's posture. The dev is now drawing Kira from head to toe rather than what used to be just head to knee. This change resulted in a change to her posture. There was also a change to how hips and thighs look in general.
The end all be all of it is that this art overhaul is going on 2 years now and so much has been rehashed multiple times that cataloguing it would be a Sisyphean endeavor; it could just change again in a future update. If what the dev claims is true, this next update will finish off Kira's art overhaul and they will be moving on to overhaul other characters and develop new content.

There is a translation into Russian, although this is an unofficial translation. To be honest, I don't understand why the developer didn't insert it into the game, since it is Russian-speaking.
