On an unrelated note, with a 'I don't know if this is due to DoLP or not' disclaimer, when you are in the Moor and you choose to Search Nearby via 'Fly' (from 'Strong Wings' trait via Bird TF and being taught to fly), although it says 'Fly (0:01)', it actually takes 4 minutes to do. Choosing to 'Fly (0:01)' deeper into the Moor or towards the Coast still takes 1 minute. Is this a vanilla bug, or a DoLP bug where normally you can't 'Fly' to search the same spot but it's being allowed in DoLP but instead of making it take 1 minute, they accidentally made it take '5-1 minutes', aka 4 minutes?

Yup, you only get one chance per purging tho, so save scum to brute force it. Also, even if you are able to pin her down you need high affection to actually be able to kiss her , so grind those outfits beforehand. The more you purge the lower the will check gets but str/physique check is still at "very hard".
I only play Vanilla and there Flying at moor takes (0:02) .

Her slapping and kicking you out is part of the quest. You should find her in the bar at night in a day or two, talk to her there and she will call you again after some time.

Avery wants me to make hamburgers. Okay, easy. Check the ingredients. The only ingredient missing is onion. Go to obvious places that should sell onion: supermarket and market. They don't sell onion. They don't sell any vegetables whatsoever.
Check the wiki. The only way to find onions is in the fcking moor and I need tending at C.

Avery's need are many, and some of them is really hard to fulfill.
If you don't have any ingredients required, just give them a random food. They will complain, but you can complain back and tell them that you don't have the ingredients. Point out the missing thing, and they will fill the fridge with that ingredients the very next day.

Apparently so in this case. You'd think it'd be in the market stalls at the very least but nupe.
The Supermarket is just weird as it currently is, missing a lot of things one would consider to be 'normal' to have, with stock quantities dangerously low that is only restocked once a week. Probably doesn't help that the only real farms near town is Alex's Farm, who was growing nothing but potatoes before the PC came along, with whatever eggs, milk and 'cream' being sold not reaching the Supermarket, and Remy's Estate/Farm, which only grows lots of strange purple plants and otherwise has a 'side farm' that produces a lot of 'milk' and 'cream' but who knows where they go to (maybe sold locally to the Manors in the outskirts?). Alex's parents/siblings' farm(s) are mentioned once in a while but they are presumably too far away to be considered 'locally sourced' or something.
A lot of vegetables are locked behind growing them yourself, some of the seeds from the RNG Markets (one of the stalls sells 6 different seeds, but you can only buy one seed at a time). You have to forage the Moor vegetables at least once to get the seeds to grow them, but you can forage them again if you don't want to grow them yourself. No one knows how to grow mushrooms and have to resort to foraging them in the Forest or the Woodlands.
Most fruits are also locked behind either foraging for it in the Forest (Apples, Pears, Lemons), having access to Alex's Farm and having upgraded the Woodlands (Plum, Strawberries, Peaches) or buying them from the RNG Markets (Bananas, up to 24 at a time per interaction).
Many ingredients like flour and butter are so rare that even the local school has cooking classes that teaches students how to make them themselves. Even honey requires a brave person to go out into the deep forests to snatch them directly off beehives maintained giant honey bees.
I do hope that eventually the Supermarket will have a sort of daily rotating stock of a sort of different stuff available for sale, kind of like how the Soup Kitchen has a few different ingredients changes daily, but charge more for it. But it'd only make sense if one could make cooking stuff a viable way of making money without taking so much time - even if it means the ability to buy 'cooking furniture' from the Furniture Shop to make cooking faster.

A lot of the argument around the market is kind of silly from a pure gameplay setup though. Like ya in reality its weird to go to a grocery store and it not have onions but this is a video game where you fuck horses. Reality has nothing to do with anything. There is a conversation to be had about the scarcity of cooking ingredients but the argument that any normal store would have onions isnt an argument that holds any water in a universe like the one the game is set in.
How many ingredients are available in any area along with their cost and quantity are gameplay balance questions and not anything else. If cooking is to be considered something that you are supposed to be able to do without hassle then ya the scarcity is a problem but if the mechanic is supposed to be a somewhat difficult problem you have to work toward then onions being hard to get makes perfect sense.

Well, apart from a very few species, most of the edible mushrooms are foraged in RL. Ceps, chanterelles, truffles, suillus, milk caps, oyster mushrooms--all these need to be hunted in the woods. Or bought from dirty old mushroom hunters standing on the side of the road, somewhere in deep, deep Pomerania.
I just wanted to come here and say that the above underlined event can indeed happen in reality therefore we it is still wrong for the supermarket to not have onions.
Now to be serious i say even in gameplay sceniarios it would make more sense if the ingredient we are searching for would be actually rare so it doesnt break immersion that its not in the supermarket.
For example if we stay at a hamburger recipe it doesnt make sense that the supermarket doesnt have onions, letucce, tomato or something of that kind BUT lets say that the recipe needs black sesame seeds which is instantly a much more rare find especially in a city the size this game portrays.
If its purely gameplay choice then the ingredients that are intented to be rare need to actually make sense to be rare.

It is also possible in reality that you could spontaneously combust and burn into ashes without warning so i guess we need a running tracker ingame to keep tabs on that? No because the simple act of something existing or not is not somehow justification for whatever to exist in a literal fantasy universe. If they decided today that onions dont exist in DoL then it doesnt fucking matter if you can find them at your local grocer because if you cant tell reality actually has no actual influence on fantasy or game mechanics besides what the people making it want it to have. You pointing at two things that exist in reality isnt some kind of gotcha is just delusion. My only point i was making is that the game is obviously fantasy so to try to shoe horn in the logic of actaul reality is really stupid.
In the game there are feats to be earned, hence so item are meant to be tougher to acquire and has nothing to do with reality.
Getting tending to C and collecting onions from the moor isnt tough, but it does takes some time and this is bad for people who doesnt have the patient to go grind.
But since Avery will provide the onions when you tell him so, the problem get solved, so no big deal.
The game aims to punish your PC with lewd stuff, hence jobs takes hard work to be done, if you want to avoid punishment, either play hard or cheat.
All that said, I do wish for onions and other ordinary ingredients to be found in the supermarket, so I can cook whatever food, anytime anywhere for convenient sake.

If it were up to me, I'd probably make common foods available to purchase, but make them expensive. Like a loaf of bread is £100, but flour is £10. So, it makes more sense to buy flour and make your own bread then to purchase it, but you can purchase it. Same thing with fruit and veg. If a single onion cost £5 each those kinds of expenses could quickly stack. Making it more sensible to grow as much as you can yourself.

It really does all boil down to how hard the devs want cooking to be mechanically. I am all for making ingredients more common and easier to get especially if it allows for some interesting stuff to do like operating a food cart on the beach having a bake sale or something nifty like that. Like many things in DoL the feature is kind of half baked and not fully fleshed out. There is a lot of potential that can be explored its just a matter of how to make all of it interesting and rewarding.
As it stands the project is hitting a kind of critical mass where there are so many different elements competing for dev time that the whole thing almost feels a little lost in the weeds. Its not a bad thing inherently its just a bit of a shame to see something added to the game only to be kind of left there as something shiny distracts everyone to run off and make something else. I wont lie it would be kind of nice to see another concerted effort like what went into the addition of the pregnancy mechanic again to really flesh out one of the current mechanics fully instead of just adding something new and shiny. Preg content itself is kind of the perfect example of this. After its initial half done implementation its not really been expanded in any meaningful way. Like its there and it works but its still just the basic concept which is really exactly what the cooking mechanic is now. Its there and it works but what else does it actually do?

If not in the Supermarket, I wouldn't mind vegetables, fruits and dairy products (and mushrooms) that are usually locked behind requiring Tending or specific mechanics/unlocks (e.g. Alex's Farm) to be available at the Connudatus (RNG) Markets instead, in good quantity. But just like when the PC is running the stall selling the stuff themselves, the stalls charge a premium because they're seeking a profit, and with either English or Promiscuity you could negotiate for a lower price. Or steal, but doing it too much makes the stall owners more cautious, making it more difficult to steal stuff (like with the Stimulant Dealer) and/or less likely to allow haggling/discounts. Kind of like the Market version of 'Hope' and 'Rebelliousness' that the Orphanage has.
In return, it'd be nice if strolling the markets either took less time, or you could make 'targeted' strolls like 'strolling for vegetables'. Kind of like how you could pick whether you were hunting for lurkers, materials or valuables when doing so from the Moor Castle (even though sometimes it feels like it doesn't really affect the chances of finding said stuff).
