Loli/shota content isn't illegal everywhere, for instance, it is illegal in the United States
It's not technically illegal in the US if the depictions are not actual people, AKA Pixels and such. It's just the stranglehold the old puritanical systems and companies have on some of the purse strings, make it in the best interest of distributors, to self censor. Subscribestar does not censor any of this content, and are not being arrested or sued over it. ;)

According to TRLG: "Because lolicon depicts an identifiable minor engaged in sexually explicit situations, loli violates federal law in the United States. You can be arrested and charged with a crime if you possess lolicon in any form." Federal law means it encompasses every state and citizen, so technically it is illegal in the US. Anyway, I believe we're getting too far side-tracked here, we can continue this discussion in our DMs if you really want to (y)

F95zone is a pirate site which means we're already in the virtual grey area, if authorities come knocking it'd be more likely for pirating copyrighted content. Loli/shota content isn't illegal everywhere, for instance, it is illegal in the United States but not in Germany or Japan however. Rest assured, if it's illegal where F95zone is located, mods or admin would've already kicked in and shut this thread down.

That said, F95zone has its own policies regarding loli/shota content. Check Rule #7:

"Content (a game, image, video, story, animation, etc.) depicting nudity or sexualization or sexual/erotic activity involving prepubescent character(s) is prohibited. A "prepubescent character" is one that visually shows no sign of puberty, or if non-visual is otherwise clearly intended to represent a prepubescent character. 2D and 'unrealistic' depictions are generally looked upon more favorably. As this involves some discretion, if you are unsure ask a Staff Member."

TL;DR: Need bob or be 2D.
>it is illegal in the united states
no, it's not. it's at best a grey area, and something they wouldn't bother with in almost all cases unless they're already after you for something else. the few cases that have popped up regarding this stuff has been a charge added in addition to other (actual) crimes, and they're usually dropped. they'd be very unlikely to survive a plea, especially in the supreme court, who have specifically stated that the first amendment protects both the creation/distribution of artistic renderings of pornography

it's like anything else really. everything is illegal in some form, if they want you that badly. technically half or more of the shit you see on pornhub would be illegal under 'obscenity laws'

On December 18, 2008, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction, consisting of 20 years' imprisonment. Whorley appealed to the Supreme Court, but was denied cert."
Wait wait wait, is it just my understanding of the english language that sucks or did you really say a guy in the US got 20 years for some lolicon mangas ?
You guys live in an insane country, now I understand the concern of some people here. But it can't be that right ? did he do or possess other stuff ? That would expain it.

Yeah, it's an interesting argument, but at least it's not the "hurr durr there's NTR in this game nobody forced me to fucking play" discussion. You get to, like, actually cite sources and do nerd shit and - if you're me and avoiding shit that actually matters to do - spend too much time researching stuff for an internet discussion that still ultimately means nothing. :p

Anyway, I came here, like others, to see what kind of horror is in the game but, since Samoa is on the table and googling shit is a simple way for me to not do paperwork, it looks like, uh, we're both right? The source was for Western Samoa, not American Samoa, but the source fails to mention it's only a technicality. You've got this: "One last example of no minimum age for marriage comes from Samoa where “[a] marriage officer shall not solemnize or record any marriage unless the husband is at least 18 years of age and the wife is at least 16 years of age, but no marriage shall be invalidated by a breach of the provisions of this section'." So there's a minimum age on the books but it doesn't mean jack shit. Ironically, the minimum age for marriage in American Samoa used to be lower, at 14, but it got changed recently?

IDK. Who even knows why I'm still here. The forms I'm supposed to be filling out are that obnoxious, I guess.

But seriously what kind of horror is this game, because loli arguments aside it's spooky season and the title implies some weird fucking kind of horror and I want to know.

If I were a producer of that kind of games, I would never live or travel to those countries (and even consumers are at risk)...
Even actual terrorists avoid being caught just by using VPNs, so as long as you use one you are safe, at least as a consumer. It's harder for producers as it's not that simple to get money without revealing your personal information (still possible though and rather cheap). But then you'd need to also worry about being prosecuted for tax evasion, which is way more likely to actually get to the court. Government more cares about taxes than lolis.

either dev made an attempt at horror, or it's bait. There's some bait at psychological/sci-fi thriller as a part of a "series", since it makes 0 sense as a standalone, but it's a short game with very little actual content, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It's an over-reaction. People see a 3D model with small tits, they immediately go to "loli". I can assure you there are zero loli's in this game. It should be perfectly legal, just as the author had intended. For my own VN's I also don't like making my 3D models' boobs so big you barely see the girl. I like small tits, and I cannot lie.... You other dudes can't deny! Small tits are the tits!

PS: Did I say tits enough?
No, it is a constant to have loli tags in LunarBitStudio games. Check out all other games from the same developer.
When the game was posted on the forum that tag wasn't there, and I just found it odd knowing the dev.
That's all
(loli tag was added after my comment). ;)

Honestly, VPNs are just proxy computers and you never know who's the owner of those computers... I think TOR is better. But, as a consumer, it works as long as you don't support the game, because, if you do, you'll have to pay somehow and your information will be there. If you download from here or other sites, you're almost safe unless you're specifically targeted... at least I think so... On Patreon, it will be impossible for producers to hide their identities because they'll start to ask proof of identity. Well... this specific content (loli, but also others like incest) is already forbidden, but many producers have games there and also an account with the same game along with more forbidden or greyish stuff on Subscribestar (MrDot's Games, for instance, who have Melody and Sunshine Love on Patreon, and those same games with DMD on Subscribestar). If the powers-that-be decide to track him via Patreon, they will succeed...
Lol, with VPNs like ExpressVPN or NordVPN not only do you know who's the owner, you also know that they won't share your identity. As I said, there was a case when terrorists used Express VPN, and yet their identities weren't shared with the government. Because it doesn't even keep your data according to their TOS. xD

I never said it's impossible to earn money anonymously, btw. You can buy fake docs for, like, 10-50$ and then use them to create a fake identity. It's possible to earn from Patreon completely anonymously. To confirm your identity they usually just ask you for a selfie of you holding your docs, which is a service you can buy, too. If you earn more than 2k from Patreon then you can easily do it anonymously if you know how. It's just too troublesome if you want to use your money IRL and not only for online purchases, though there are ways, too.

I started playing and I came to the point when MC's daughter died. Damn.. I lost my will to play because of this.

The best part is the secret ending we can have at the beginning of the game. There, at least, MC lives happily with his daughter.
how do you get the secret ending? I got 2.
1. Still trapped in the cycle (sex with everyone)
2. Broke the cycle (sex with no one)

Is there any other ending?

Click on your daughter when she says" "I miss mommy" at the beginning of the game and later when they go for ice cream, choose strawberry. ;)

Genuinely curious. Why is this kind of porn considered legal and okay? Some of the girls look young af.
Maybe because it's just fiction and not really kids in there? no one is really normalising this in real life, just wanking to what their fantasies want and moving on with their lifes like you should, don't judge others if you like to browse in a site swarming with another immoralities like this and just complain to one especific thing, just grow up man

My question had no tone of ill-will or judgement towards others. To be honest, it seems like you got a bit salty/offended at my genuine question by saying "just grow up man". I was literally just asking why this kind of porn is considered legal and okay.
