I've been holding this back for weeks, but I can't anymore; every time I see it on screen it hurts my eyes.
I know many of you will hate me for the nitpicking but I give zero fucks :LUL:

1Thousand Sanguis Rex makes no sense in Latin.
It you meant "King's Blood," you should have said "Sanguis Regis."
If you meant "The King of Blood," you should have said "Rex Sanguinis."

BTW, nice profile pic. Maserati? Bologna? :)
You're right.
But this is Sanguinian, not exactly Latin, and furthermore, it's Old Sanguinian, which is even more warped, like Aramaic to Greek.
Actually it's pseudo-intellectual-looney-tunes-porn. The animated type.
Just kiddin'. I left my brain where it usually is when I play VNs; in my dick. ;)
The Maserati is an Easter egg. Try to find it.

But this is Sanguinian
As a person who knows nothing about Latin (or Sanguinian), I just read that as "The Blood King" and my first thought on seeing the demon for the first time was "shouldn't that be Regina (Queen)?" Can't trust a tribe who literally call themselves "the Bloods" like some L.A. gang to get anything right :p

Speaking of the Demon, I notice in the thread that most people seem to be playing exclusively Hero. I play both paths and gotta say, the opportunity to tap that:

...is going to be much, much higher on the Villian path.

I have a hunch that doing so could very well result in a horrible death (akin to banging Morinth in Mass Effect 1), but what the hell, still going for it :BootyTime: :KEK:

Well, there are all those save slots. Might as well take advantage of them and use a few for a villain path. ;)

maserati which he has bought with patreon money. :p
Yeah, well, unfortunately this game is ridiculously under-supported. He's not ICSTOR :(
Best case scenario, the dev got himself a Fiat Punto :Kappa:

That's absolutely correct, since it's a female demon it should be Regina rather than Rex, but I just focused on the grammatical part considering the declensions of sanguis and rex. The dev just put together the two basic forms of the words "rex" and "sanguis" as if it were English, where you can use a noun as a complement of another noun.

Queen's Blood would translate as "Sanguis Reginae," while "The Queen of Blood" would be "Regina Sanguinis."

On the other hand, I'm not sure whether this has always been her form. Maybe thousands of years ago, before the demon was first defeated, it had a male or neuter form. I don't know if I missed that part in the story

I play both too. I mean, I respect everyone but honestly don't get people who just stick to one possible playthrough and miss out on half the content a dev has worked so hard on. In some games I avoid certain kinks or certain characters I dislike, but a whole path? 50% of the game? It seems inconceivable to me.
And yes, I can totally not wait to tap that ass until our MC's cock falls off in flames :LUL:

I think the demon is both male and female as seen in its demonic form. So MC better watch out; instead of him sticking it to her she might be sticking it in him.

I think it would have been enough to say it is a fantasy setting. Besides who knows what Latin actually sounded like or meant way back in the day. So Maserati is an Easter egg. Well I learn something new everyday.

Ehmmm...no.
Latin is not ancient Egyptian, you know?
Latin was kept alive for centuries, it was the language of cultural transmission for centuries, and it was learnt and understood by every single literate person in the Western world for centuries. We know exactly what it meant back in the day, and we have a pretty accurate idea of what it sounded like in ancient Rome.

A fantasy setting does not exclude per se being accurate regarding any real language being used in it. That's just a poor argument.

Well sorry to bother, but actually Sanguis Rex are juste an adjective and a noun. Both are written in nominativ (dunno if that's how it's called in English). Then what Sanguis Rex might mean is more like "the bloodthirsty king" or something liek that.

Well, sorry too but Sanguis and Rex are both nouns. None of them is an adjective.
In English a noun can perform an adjectival function when it accompanies another noun (race car, beach ball, wine glass, Blood King).
It is also possible in German, which I'm assuming is your native language since you wrote "nominativ."

But that is not possible in Latin. In Latin you need to use the genitive to denote this sort of relationship. The genitive of rex is regis; the genitive of sanguis is sanguinis. That's something really basic that I learnt during my high-school days in Spain and haven't forgotten since then.
