The tower thing was in the first update that had emission zones that changed your appearance. Haven't played in a while, so its probably the same thing and its just having an emission zone in that area but without the tower visible.
The idea of placing things below or inside things, is a common mapping trick, I think first pioneered by bethesada. If you noclip in morrowind, oblivion, or skyrim, you'd see the same overall things going on.

Perhaps I'm wrong or mistaking, but it seems the Crack doesn't work with the version 20.2 of the video-game.
Has anyone else encountered this issue, or have I done a dum-dumb?
Update on the issue : now the video-game tells me the ID is "corrupted" both for the versions 19 and 20.2 so what could have possibly happened?
Yet another edit on my behalf. No matter how I proceed about it (downloading the Crack provided by lnomsim or updating the Main.lua) the version 20.2 just refuses to cooperate. Meanwhile downloading the version 19.0 and applying the Crack worked. So there is something that I broke, then fixed yet I can't figure out what exactly neither how I did any of that.
Any help would be appreciated to get version 20.2 working.
Final edit because I've been hitting my head against a brick wall and feel like I could need some much needed rest. I'm back to the "ID corrupted" issue after launching version 19 (successfully) then version 20.2 (not-so-successfully). For some unknown reason, having both versions downloaded on my computer hinders the Crack for version 19. Meanwhile version 20.2 and its own dedicated Crack never worked for me.
I swear that I've been careful with my process. Downloaded version 19, then its Crack. Launched the video-game once without installing the Crack, then installed it. It worked flawlessly. I then proceeded with the download of version 20.2 and its Crack. Same procedure as for version 19 but the Crack immediately refused to acknowledge "crack0" as a valid input. Then version 19 no longer worked and gave me the "ID corrupted" error.

Here are the full changelogs since the release of version 20 and its subsequent hotfixes up to version 20.2
Release 20 changelog update:
NSFW:
• Ivy has comments if aroused and moans if very aroused.
• Different animations and stages reduce arousal differently.
• The medstation can't remove eggs or tentacles if it's too early.
• Added a customization option for smaller clit size.
• Horny enemies or Ivy alter dialogue options.
Gameplay:
• The enemy becomes cautious if shot at without recognizing who shot at him.
• Added lightning during storms.

fyi, waiting for 20.3 hotfix as game crashing after 10+ mins gameplay spawning too many objects... 20.x is unstable and prone to randomly crashing....

Same. Genuinely don't know what the dev did to break the game that badly, but it's gotta get fixed soon otherwise the people actually paying will get pissed.
Dev probably added in extra DRM on top of the DRM that's already in place.
I don't think it's DRM considering the crashing seems to be unrelated to the crack. I mean, unless the dev did such a bad job at it that it affects non-cracked versions of the game.
its a game bug causing it to generate alot of stuff overloading memory variables ... nothing to do with the crack as the crack just bypass/overwrites the in-game online checks....

Killing raiders gives you a negative reputation. They'll start shooting you on sight if it's negative. When it's positive you can walk past them easily. Wearing the correct clothes gives additional reputation for the faction.
Depending on what trader you talk to and do tasks you earn reputation also.
