I personally think the game in its current version is manageable under the second difficulty without cheats. The grind is still tedious but it's not a fundamental issue. The pc can bait surrender or be passive and roam in front of mob's face (in correct costume).
Only complain I have currently is that there's still no clear indication of enemy's aggro state.
...That said it's been 2 months since the last update, any news?

Honest opinion, I've played modded fo4 and modded Skyrim, and they both end up VERY boring, very fast. I believe the main issue is that the sex is just so tacked on, it becomes too boring after a while. At least to me. Getting quests helps, I had several for Skyrim and the pornstar one for fallout 4, but again, several quests out of the whole game can only carry it so far
Edit: forgot to mention. If you do decide to try a modded game, I recommend fo4 over Skyrim. Less mods is needed for it to work, also it doesn't seem as buggy. Sexlabs for Skyrim was glitchy af.
I remember when I enslaved all the nobles in Solitude back in 2019. Delta Zone could not come close to what kind of power trip you can have in Skyrim.
Get your Sanity meter up (the brain icon i think ?), you can masturbate or some drugs make it go up, those monsters/hallucinations are unkillable.
Sanity only goes down when you use cyberware or go into an anomaly zone

It's annoying that hallucinogenic creatures appear before I even get below 50%, I mean they're right in front of me when my sanity isn't even 0.

Oh, you want to play Tarkov? Just play mod Fallout 4.
Oh, you want to play STALKER? Just mod Fallout 4.
Oh, you want to play The Sims 4? Just mod Fallout 4.

It's a slippery slope. Making your own game makes it so that your experience is smooth and user friendly. Not that Delta Zone is supposed to be, but this game is in pre-Alpha. Yes a game takes years. This isn't a pixel sandbox, it takes a lot of time and money. Don't like supporting it? Stop. You signed up for it, you just didn't know what you were getting into.
This game is being portrayed worse than it is because people misunderstand it. It's like seeing Fear and Hunger on here and going, "This game has no sex! It's too hard! Shit game!". Just swap to a dedicated porn game and leave this one alone.

Skyrim and Fallout have become an engine to build a world you desire.
This game gets boring as quickly as them and for the same reason. All is avalible from the start. If scavs would perform pleasant sex, raiders rough, and corpos used toys, green tentacles would have different animations, and all types of enemies would not be present on first map, well maybe then it would not get so boring so fast.

I never said DZ was finished; far from it.
Saying that Bethesda games are "engines" is like saying "the Miata is an engine". No it's not. It's a fucking car. A fully built car with all the bells and whistles, and you're ripping shit out and slapping mods on it, which may or may not break your car.
If people want a customized experience, they can spend the weeks needed to tweak Fallout or Skyrim into their own fantasy game. For the rest of us who want to get it over with, we'll stick to stock. Even if that means it takes time for the final product to release. Grinder and paint? No thanks, I'll stick to a car that was actually made to be driven like a racehorse.

Game lacks content a bit everywhere ngl, it's not just this or that, and with how updates have been recently, i'm okay with what's going on, the main problem is waiting this long for anything though.
Different kinds of clothing should not be very time consuming to do, different weapon types to be excited when you find something good should not be time consuming to do, even going past Corporate (Tier 5) weapon parts because in permadeath, you get showered of modern and composite parts, the only upgrade is structural, which is... meh.
Honestly, you like or don't like the game loop, it just lacks content overall. Let's remember it's a 0.2 alpha...
Let's just hope it won't take 20 more years for updates to come
(I really would like more clothing, more weapons, more more more give me more raaaah)
