So this is no longer a joke that past months went into new empty map and DRM

I've been trying not to pay attention to the game's development over the past few months since it's still nearly identical to v14 that I started with. I'm not one to tell someone how to make a video game, but damn, throw in some more nsfw stuff and get some cashflow before trying to make a tarkov clone.

That being said, he hasn't release a changelog for v23 and I'm pretty nervous now that it's just that. A new empty map and more DRM.

Though patreons seem to start to call the dev's bullshit because he lost 4-5K worth of subscriptions in the last few months.

If I made so much money from something, i'd treat it like my baby, idk why the dev has so little presence.

Because he don't care. It's typical approach in porn games. Also if you look at graph on graphteon, then you see each of end month it drop because people don't use subscribtion renewal. Actually from march he got more subscribers. For last three months it dropped only by 100 subscribers.

I can't figure it out. I remember he was talking in his discord about hiring a new animator. I can't see the nsfw channels, but the sfw channels are just people asking questions about the cyberwarfare.

The development channel is the new map, some lore introduction for an area, a hacking minigame, new blood mechanics, graphical updates to Ivy's face, cpu optimization, water effects, reflections, etc.

It's not the update we want, or what people are willing to pay for, but he does seems to be doing a lot of world building and working on the game and he's pretty responsive to questions asked in the discord. I just don't want another open world empty map. I wish he fleshed out the current maps instead of making the world bigger and bigger. Oh and give me that quadruped creature.

Definitely on the other side of history with this one.

I'd prefer this game have a stable SFW release first as this will allow Devo to upload it to Steam, which will soon be the boost he needs.

The NSFW part was always just a tack-on project, but the base game was always shit. Devo needs to work on it first before adding new features and flesh them out first.

If the update has everything you say i'm actually quite okay with that honestly. We knew there was gonna be a hacking minigame due to cyberwares and the game in general could really use some fresh paint, so new blood effects and such. It's really something to be done soon so he can focus on actual content imo. I really do hope he's gonna stop adding maps soon though, we need content, not story nor another map to barely explore for no reason.

Without a screenshot of what the UE5 Fatal Error is, we can't help you.

Most likely its graphic drivers, lack of RAM, not installed the distributables, or such forth.

Steam is not very keen on rapey content. Its why Wild Life and other games got banned from there.

So if DZ gets kicked off Steam, is that the end of the game, or just the start of porn-focused content?

I think people are mistaking the furry content for CNC content, which they are definitely wrong.

Steam is so liberal with what they allow that a game where necrophilia exists in the most graphic way UE5 allows is on their platform.

So I doubt Wild Life with its anthro sex would be banned, let alone Delta Zone. Although there is CNC content but is explicitly stated by Devolution in the intro as CNC.

1) Oh? So then why was the demo dropped off Steam shortly after the failed Kickstarter? I stopped paying attention to the Steam page after that, so lot could happen between now and then. But looking at Steam, its the old UE4 demo, not any of the current UE5 builds.

So is the UE5 build banned on Steam or is it still planned to be there?

2) Yes, because a human always consents to an interaction with a nonhuman, one who is far "bigger" than a regular human, especially a tentacle creature known as Silvarius. Personally I don't care, but just because someone "agrees" to something doesn't mean they aren't being coerced, drugged, or blackmailed into doing the act.
