The fact that people fell for April's Fool joke is hilarious lol. There is no way Valve would shoot themselves in the foot to wipe out all of adult contents off of steam.

Please note that if it takes a while to launch on Steam it is because remember the new policy that every 2 months (maximum 3 months) early access games must have an update or they will be removed from the platform. (update in June or July) By that time all early access games will have to be active at least with small patches or they will be removed from the platform, therefore almost all games are rushing to have a sustainable development by that time (STEAM GAMES)

bullshit. why would Steam remove something that brings them money?
all they do is place a warning after 12 months of no updates

holy shit anyone knows more games like this? but more sandboxy if possible
There's not much to suggest. My Lust Wish and Pizza Hot would be the only valid options. You may also try Silicon Lust but it's more like a rails based story (still pretty interesting) without any rpg elements or freedom where you just follow from point A to point B to watch another sex scene.

Look no further than Heartbound for a great example of that: the dev, PiRAT software (I'm gonna guess if you know who he is you know the controversy), is a fairly popular streamer who yaps about being "such a great dev" and "so intimately knowledgeable about game dev work" while playing classic WoW or some other low mental effort game 8-10 hours a day so he can just stop to yap about nothing and draw a condescending MSPaint example of some incredibly simple concept.

Anyway, their game Heartbound hadn't received an update in over a year because he's getting those sweet streamer bucks now, and the dude got so wildly insecure about it they pushed an 8MB (might be off on the size but w/e) nothingburger update just to get Steam to remove the warning. Anyone who thinks Steam gives a fuck about enforcing their policies is naive, most of this stuff isn't even handled by actual humans anymore.

version 0.3.0 and 0.3.5 will not launch locks up completely and have to alt+end+task and I have 32GB of memory. How the hell is this thing even suppose to run?

I don't get that problem. It must be something with your system, I only have 16 GB of memory and I have no problems getting it to run and play well.

Dear developers, you're creating an amazing game. Right now, the prologue feels like a fun and dark 18+ take on something between Quantic Dream and Dont Nod, especially the last in terms of style. I've played through the prologue 4 times, and every time I've been shocked by how much content I've missed. The amount of branching and variation is insane, and the outcomes of different paths really leave a strong impression. I truly hope that a bunch of porn slideshow fans won’t lead you astray, and that you’ll keep making the kind of content that made your fans love you since you've been working on MLW.

It's because of this that I would be completely fine if the game kept its current branching linear gameplay style. After 5 days it will turn open world and I'm not sure how engaging that will be, especially since it will require a TON of development to pull off well

I'm not sure why there is a 5 day prelude honestly. It would make more sense if the prelude was part of the open world gameplay. Then the dev could just keep adding more "days" perpetually. But at this rate, we get like 1 day per year of development so... I offered help on the project, free of charge, but I think they brushed me off?

I have experience with Blender, 3DS Max, UE4, UE5, GIMP and I can also code in multiple different languages. Not sure why you'd turn that down.

Small correction, it's 7 days, not 5. I understand why they're doing it that way, they can test and implement new features on a smaller scale and wait for the open-world to be fleshed out for an interesting experience. Not really in the player's favor until they reach that point though.

Kinda weird they brushed you off. You asked them on their discord? If I were them, I wouldn't refuse free assets done right tbh.

I don't think it's that weird, There are plenty of reasons to refuse free help.
For one you can't guarantee that the free help is up to par with what you need. For another I am certain there are plenty of would be "helpers" who volunteer just to get "early access" to the game. Then you have the fact that you can't really count on a free helper, he has no real stakes on this so they will work slow, or whenever they have free time and desire to work. Then you might have those who want to "steer" the project towards their own kinks.

Then you might have the "nefarious" individuals who might just want to just be a nuisance or even get trusted enough and be put in a position he can damage the project, or even take it "hostage"(it's far fetched I know, but it's just a thing that might happen) .

Just because something is free it doesn't mean you should get it.

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts, and what not.
