"I'm currently wrapping things up and I expect to be able to release the update this weekend."

Yea, sure you do :HideThePain:
Oh, it's already Monday noon in CET, and you AGAIN break your word.
How many more times will we hear from you "I'll be able" in weekly updates, before you ACTUALLY be able to release Chapter 4?

Edit:
I don't like that the mainpage says:
"If this is not your thing then please depart the thread ..."
It sounds like its a hardcore NTR only Game. But i looked into it more and the Dev says
"NTR (Optional) and Harem (Planed)" so maybe there is hope for me. :)
I also don't get it why people get so pissed at me for saying "optional" would be nice.
It doesn't remove anything. Just more people could play it.
Naturally having options to bolster accessibility of a game would be every Dev dream, when it comes to storytelling though, depending on how the writer meshed NTR to it, you might find dependencies to previous or future NTR scenarios throughout the story, which although might present the player with an option to actually sway from them, they are still canon to an extent, as they contributed for the events to unfold the way they did and your progression overall in the first place.

If you don't mind the canon NTR and would enjoy redeeming the characters involved with it, I'd say the game is deserving a go regardless, but it comes down to how sensitive you are to the whole fetish and how off putting is to you.

Rule to live by for these devs: Don't give dates, only updates. Don't make promises, only results.
If the dev is not giving you dates, you should demand them.
If he not delivering on time you cancel the support, until he does.

Those 2 simple steps, would make those silly porn games infinitely better, sure some would quit and start crying and thats very good, you ignore and forget these - the rest would actually learn to deliver, up the quality and start taking people seriously.

But now lets get back to the reality when you can expect the opposite.

I have two devs who put releases of games that really impressed me this month. I think I will stop supporting this one to support them unstead.

It's something I often do. I limit the amount of Patreons I give and rotate when I receive too many red flags from a dev.
Reaching the 5 months with no release is one (depend on particular case) and repeatedly giving unrespected release date is a second red flag.

Not scamming but this is a bit abnormal that he hasn't even said anything yet and we're past his due date promise. If I were him I'd be busting my ass so that my next message isn't an apology in a day or two but an actual release.
