Hey guys! With the ETA of March 11th coming up soon, it's about time for another post on how things are coming along right now.

The game has reached a point where the MC can take his relationship with the other characters to the next level (Herald excluded). These steamy scenes are exactly what this game is about and I want to take my time and effort to make the Lewdness maximally enjoyable for you guys. For example, even in the last few days, I've still been adding new dialogue and choices that weren't planned in the first draft. This has made Chapter 4 much longer than I initially intended. Which, all in all, I believe is a good thing.

On the downside, this means I won't be able to release Chapter 4 on the 11th of March. But I can assure you the current ETA of March still holds.

I've added some juicy previews for you to enjoy in the meantime (as requested).

I'm glad about the update status, hopefully it's still soon enough in March(maybe mid march).

We've still got a decent amount of time before the end of March, which seems like a possibility of a release date.
Hope it comes sooner, but the game will be ready when it's ready I guess.

This update looks great so far and I'm hyped to play it.

I personally enjoy this game quite a bit even with NTR content as it falls well within the theme of the story. However I'm hoping a few aspects are addressed over the next few chapters as it's becoming noticeable that the dev is very loosely following Freytag's Pyramid.

The main issue I have with the story is the lack of any real exposition aside from topics related to the demonic world. We're give little information about his personality and the relationships he shares with the other characters. The beginning of the story feels rushed, as if the dev wanted to get straight into the plot without the proper buildup. While not necessarily an issue the MC is caught in between a blank slate and well defined character, which is similar to Commander Shepard of the Mass Effect Trilogy.

We also lack context on the world MC inhabits. The setting is lackluster with the primary locations being school and MC's apartment complex. We're lacking the context on the size of the city and position of key locations (such as the school and Lydia's apartment). What adds to my anxiety is the introduction of a demonic world which doubles the work required to develop it's setting.

The inciting incident is a point that already shows some improvement with the scene in chapter 3 where MC's mom addresses the book. It feels less like a throwaway device to justify MC gaining demonic powers and more like an integral story element.

My best guess towards the length of this game is anywhere from 16 - 24 chapters in total to tell a fleshed out story. The theme is already well developed and the characters (aside from MC) are starting to show signs of character development. The dev has also shown his ability to set up branching paths, which adds weight to the choices we make and adds to the allure of this particular game. As long as he takes his time and avoids trying to rush into certain story elements this game could be one of the few jewels on this site.

I think the dev mentioned making a sequel and this would be considered "Book 1".

Maybe eventually he'll make a prequel after he's done with this game, but that's still far ahead to look at.

I think his current approach actually works to his benefit despite my critical response to the chapters released so far. Since the main theme is dealing with demons the overall experience would suffer if we spent several chapters focusing on the buildup rather than delving straight into demonic shenanigans. The only viable method to address the concerns I had would be drastically increasing the length of each chapter, which is unreasonable to ask of a single man team.

It also sounds like my initial assumption on the length of the story was a grossly underestimating. I just hope Ero doesn't fall into the trap George R.R. Martin did with trying to expand the story too much and overwhelming him in the process. I'd be severely crushed to have another fantasy type VN of this quality be abandoned halfway through.

Yeah I see a lot of devs being overwhelmed on here for the last 2 years who abandoned their games or conclude it in a half baked manner due to the pressure they put on themselves.

This game has a lot of hype around it and each chapter is gonna gather more fans and many will pressure Ero for releases or specific content they want to see.
I think his best bet(which I'm pretty sure he's doing) is take it one chapter at a time. This gamecan really be something special and so far it has been, so I put my trust in this dev to make the right calls.

Book 2 or a prequel is still far ahead and possibly might not happen depending on how the dev wants to wrap this game up.

My theory is that the father of the MC ended up becoming the demon king Asmodeus (that's why Nichole recognizes the book) and abandoning his family because of it. He was recently overthrown by some rebels and so Lilli, faithful to Asmodeus, planned for the MC to find the book and summon her, to escape and help the MC become a demon, like his father. MC will have sex with all possible women and, when he is powerful enough, he will be able to face the current demon king and avenge his father. Then maybe you can choose to be the demon king or stay with Nichole
