You should add "trap" tag, there is a "S tier" trap in the game.
Also as far as I remember most of the hentai is on a "side story" I really know how to name it (since it is on a side thingy that you will unlock once you get enough on the main mission) but if you play only the main mission you won´t see much (only if you get defeated you will enter a "survive" mode with plenty of BDSM stuff), hentai wise it wasn´t the best game but the art was pretty good.

So all of the H content is locked into losing, bad ends, and side routes? Fucking hell, that is such a bummer. If I'm playing a goddamn H game, why is it so hard to understand that I don't want to play the game through twice or not lose constantly to enjoy both the story and the h content? Why do so many hgame devs not understand how fucking tedious it makes their game? All it makes me want to do is go play something else that respects my time and doesn't expect me to play it over and over again just because I want to beat my fucking dick while enjoying a good story too.

i think im about half ways through the map so far, pretty good so far, the story is great and some of the character designs are very unique, not bothing with the H stuff till i finish and unlock the recolection room, if i beat it before someone posts a save ill post one.
Would recommend playing it tho for the story alone.

its not too bad. Losing and bad ends is actually talking about the same thing, and there's a surrender button when the game first introduces bad end mode (but somehow a lot of people missed seeing it). Meaning if you want to go into the bad end mode, you don't actually have to go through the tedious process of finding a fight to lose to. Carry on and win all your fights, and never look back, because you can just press a button later to access the bad end mode.
As for the h-content, this game, at least imo, is completely worth playing without any of the h-content. For many people, looking for a quick game with high h-content, this game is definitely not it. I understand not everyone on the site is looking for a solid JRPG with both great plot and great cast, but if you're willing to at least give it a try and put your h-content expecations aside, I have a feeling many of you will end up loving the game instead.

I'm just disappointed because I thought it'd be possible to freely use the alternate costumes that are actually locked to different modes, so I've been waiting on this one a while.
Story, art, and gameplay are good and one day I'll finish it. But it's not what I'm looking for in an H game (although I do support making high quality unique titles like this)

The MVMZ cheat menu will work for this as long as you enable Auto update, Auto Pause, and Only Update Active Tab in the configuration menu.

Hey there. This is a game that you really shouldn't sleep on if you want to read a good story. As a person above me said, most of the H content is entirely optional - there is a porn theme park where your characters can take part in consensual sex scenes, capture scenes where you have to save a certain character or they get raped (avoidable), and the notorious bad end - an ultra-hard dungeon where all the scenes are quite messed up, but once again - completely optional and treated as non-canon by the game itself.
As for the classic tropes - if you're talking about the main party being molested and forced, so far(middle of Chapter 2) there's been pretty much none of that. No guys grabbing the MC's ass while she screams "Kyaaa!", no perverts peeking up the trap's skirt and getting a heart attack, no boys stealing the slave's bikini. There is rape, slavery and perverts in the world, though - the setting is dark and other characters aren't spared from bad things happening to them. The one way to get your companions raped is by leaving them to their fate once they get captured in certain dungeons (1 scene per character, requirements must be met for the capture to trigger).
The game's story is one of the best ones I've had the pleasure of playing, and the cast of characters is extremely diverse, with everyone having their own unique personality, circumstances and motivations. The dungeons and maps contain such a huge amount of interactables, hidden passages, and secret rooms that even with a guide you might miss some of them. The combat, while not being the most groundbreaking thing ever, still has enemies with certain strengths and weaknesses, characters that fill in a specific role in your party and requiring strategy to utilize to their fullest, a ton of equipment, bonus ultra hard bosses and ultimate moves for the main cast. All in all, Demons Roots is an RPG worth playing.
Is this complete? because the one I downloaded was from steamunlcoked ended in "to be continued in Kings Exit". I checked if there was one here but there wasn't one yet so I played the one from steamunlocked. I knew it was eventually going to be appearing here but did not expect it to be this fast. Maybe I should've just waited for it to be posted here lol.
