A Game with filled with noir, mystery, gloomy atmosphere....is right up the alley for dark elements....which leads us to deaths. For example TV shows such as The Wire and Breaking Bad handled them perfectly with sufficient character development. And so did Depraved Awakening.
I hope 'no one's safe' stigma outreaches many developers. This creates a sense of fear and keeps the players engaged!
