Greenish I'm working on a port to Android for this game and I wanted to suggest that you run the "Check Script (Lint)" Activity in the Renpy Launcher. It finds a lot of issues, many of which you can ignore, but it is also pointing out a few actual problems with your code.

Love the artwork in this game, by the way.

None of the choices in the game so far seems to matter. At least for now this looks to be an entirely linear story where you can occasionally pick some dialogue options for colour.

Other than that, the setup and the writing (apart from the poor English) is pretty decent. The highly introspective, melancholy tone isn't really something I find appealing, but it is well done for what it is. And as others have said above, always appreciate having an actual adult as the MC.

I really hate starting up stories with depressed shithead MC's with anger issues......because I started out as a depressed shithead with anger issues. Stories like this are a little to "close to home" sometimes starting out but, depending on how they're written, can be kind of cathartic as they progress. I still deal with depression, but I have learned to process the anger and "cage the beast" better and better over the years and hopefully I'm not as much of a shithead anymore . There are some games where the MC either never shows progress or it takes a looooooong time. I like to see some progress early, even if the struggle continues for awhile (believe me it is a lifetime struggle that never truly ends), because it shows that the game is going to be worth following to watch the "redemption". So far - pretty interesting. Gonna keep following.

I totally agree with that, but if i'm not mistaken even stepcest is forbidden by patreon rules, so i was worried we wouldn't get any content with her at all.

But seriously tho, just wanted to say - I came in bored and looking for a fap, but the writing captured me so quickly, I kinda just forgot about that. Which speaks volumes about the writing ... if you can keep that level up, this is going straight to the top of my list, right behind Summer's Gone. The Sydney scene with the let's call it 'insistent voice' alone was chef's kiss.

Great job and great characters, I'm hooked and eagerly waiting for more!

Yeah, every time I hear "the world would be a better place if women ran it" or "toxic masculinity" I think about having worked in an office of mostly women and how vicious they are to each other and how vicious they were to each other in school. My wife hates working with lots of other women, she hires mostly men and if a woman starts drama...."there's the door".
