Having played the lesbian walkthrough recently, you can indeed get through the game with no male contact. There is some flirting answers to men but the walkthrough developer justified it that Chris, if a lesbian, would still "play the game" by leading on some men above her every so often.

I really want to go back and get the trophy wife ending now. That's one that's never come up for me before (though probably because I always tend to prioritize Eve).

She is also in a relationship with a man at the start of the game(and for most of it at least), so she probably doesn't have any big problem flirting, if you go with the idea that she is discovering her true sexuality.

So, about this game. As female protag goes, this is by far the worst I've ever played. I just forced myself to finish making sure to see how awful it would end with Eve, the "Girlfriend".
If I could rename the MC I would to Doormat, because that's what she is, and ofc, the fact that, and I want to let it here to anyone who wants a good Lesbian romance. There's none. It's a terrible relationship where MC is in doubt about her sexuality and Eve's abuse and humiliate, and rape her because of it, (sorry, but making a girl drunk to just fuck her it's just it for me) instead of, like any sensible person would help her.
The "Choices" are just fake, you can deny having a relationship with the men all you want. But the game will treat it as if you did most of the time. Since MC will not defend herself, ever.
Ah, and not to forget, even if you end up in the "Lesbian" ending, MC will never admit that she's gay, and will be crying over her lost BF. But having someone like Eve to replace him, I can really see why, actually.
So, in the end, for me, it's awful, without a single charisma in all characters, and so, 0 stars.

Hmm,, I think you are in the minority here, whilst I fully respect your views, I have to disagree.
I loved this game, obviously, we all have our own views and tastes, it is good that we can express them here without judgement, I wish you and yours good health and seasons greetings. ;)

Perhaps I'm reading between the lines here, but I get the sense that you didn't like the game? :)

But seriously, thanks for giving it a try. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you.

In my oppinion this is the best game. The story is complex, and interesting, and the characters have their own unique personality, and the protagonist is very lovley and beutiful, and a clever well educated girl. I love Christine's sumbissive attitude, and Eve's dominat personality. I love when the controlled (girl)protagonist is submissive, but in this game it is up on you.

The funny thing is, as a feminist, I can see Avallonkao's point. C is definitely not a strong female protagonist, such as we're starting to demand in our movies and TV shows and real life. But while I consider myself pretty strong and independent most of the time, put me in the hands of a natural domme and I respond very much like C does - all "Ums" and "Ers" and "Do I really have t...okay." Alas, not an experience I've had often, but enough to resonate.

Not to say C, or Eve, are particularly realistic to my eye. It's a porn story, after all. There's a certain suspension of disbelief inherent to the medium. But I think they were well written all the same.

For someone who found this through the Female Protagonist or Lesbian tags, Avallonkao's review is great, as far as it goes. If you're looking for a good strong female protagonist or a loving lesbian story, this is not that game. This story also does not model safe and consensual BDSM. The lines between BDSM and abuse can be genuinely blurry, but Eve definitely crosses that line. (And while I tried to avoid them, I stumbled into some of the male scenes and they're even worse in that regard.) Those Blackmail and Corruption tags are also there for a reason.

But as important as sitting down for an hour discussing lines and veils and safewords is IRL... a selfish, manipulative little minx like Eve is hot. To some of us. If you're looking for a good weak female protagonist with a good female antagonist to react to, C and Eve are excellent and I highly recommend them.

My intention with Chris was to portray her as being smart and driven, but a bit too focused on her career and, in particular, her career with that particular firm. I didn't want her to be weak, but I did want her to have a massive weakness which, that leads her to make some potentially bad choices in the game which lead her down some bad paths Or not. There are many off ramps from her descent (to the extent it is a descent) and many alternative endings.

Yes. To which I would add, almost everyone talks like that, at least to some extent, in real life. I deal with transcripts a lot in my job and pretty much everyone speaks in half sentences, with "uhms" and "likes" and "uhhs" all the time. It's only in TV and movies that people really speak in complete sentences.

Of course. I tried to give all of the characters motivation and personality, but it is a porn game. And I'm not a professional writer or developer. I just did it for fun. I did my best, but there are limitations.

Yes, absolutely.

Thank you. I appreciate your thoughts and your comments.

Let me just say that I really enjoyed playing through this a few times. I wish Christine on the lesbian path was not so reluctant, but hey I'm not the one writing it. (At least it had a lesbian path!)

Anyway I made a walkthrough/guide for the Lesbian path that I took. If you have any feedback just let me know.

Edit: Updated to version 2
I'm sorry, but based on the ending this "NOT" a lesbian ending. Yah she doesn't have to touch any dicks besides one, but she is bi if anything and never feels like she is one. I have quite a few beefs with this path, but w/e. This is anything, but a lesbian end.

Well, damn. It was way better than i expected. I loved the story and how its shaped. I liked the multiple endings. I liked the female mc, especially her realistic looks. By that i mean no oversized boobs, ass, no bimbo face. Seriously that is one of the most i liked about this game. Overall i enjoyed it very much and i'll give it 4 stars. But why not 5 if i enjoyed it this much? Well here is why;

These are personal options and a bit positive criticism, no offense to Dev.

-I wish the scenes had animations, that would raise the excitement way too high. But still, scenes are very well done.
-I wish that Eve route could be %100 avoidable. But its not, at some point you either go with it or its one of the bad endings.
-Related to 2nd, some choices doesn't matter at all. i.e; I said no to going out with her, but she went anyways. Or the wine / whiskey option, if you pick whiskey you get drunk and do silly things with her. If you chose wine, she drugs your drink and you do silly things with her again. So whats the point? And i trully hated that Eve so f...ng much! :D

But those are minor problems for me, they didn't prevent me from enjoying the game and even playing over and over to find out other endings.

Thank you. Nice to hear that people are still trying and enjoying the game after all this time.

None taken. And I hope you don't mind if I respond.

I'll blame it, in part, on my older laptop, which practically burst into flame on the larger renders. However, the truth is, I was learning DAZ as I went along and animation was just a bridge too far.

This one is all me. I needed some events to get things rolling for Chris.

So, I didn't want it to be totally avoidable. However, after the opening salvo, I think you can more or less put Eve off most of the time. Of course, there are consequences to that.

With one or two minor exceptions, all decisions made a difference, even if it wasn't obvious.

Yes, you have to go out with Eve. It is one of the events which starts the story.

Sorry you didn't like Eve, though. She is, to say the least, a divisive character.

Anyway, thank you again for the comments. Glad you enjoyed it.

This game was great and well written until you are forced to sell yourself to a lecherous old man in order to progress. I didn't have to do anything for any man to get that far. The game did a great job, up to that point, to allow you to keep your dignity. I don't understand why you are robbed of the choice all of a sudden. There should have been a third, diplomatic option or some way to outsmart him.

Not entirely sure what you're referring to here, but if it's William, there are ways to avoid "selling" yourself to him.

What ways might those be? If it's selling yourself to somebody else like John for example, it's just as pointless. I get that the game is called descent but it's just a shame that all the ethical choices you made so far are rendered pointless and, for not whoring yourself away, you only get an ending that's far from satisfying. Like cakeny said it feels like a game over. Still as i said, the game up to that point was excellent, and really competent in letting you decide how to proceed, that's why i think players who wanted to be moral, deserved to see a proper conclusion to the story.

I think we will have to agree to disagree on the how the game progresses or the scope of the options for proceeding. As I mentioned in response to cakeny, there is at least one way through the story without making the compromise you originally mentioned, but you are correct that many of the options available to the mc do involve a similar compromises. However, ymmv.

In any event, thanks for giving the game a try and for your comment about the early game. I'm sorry it didn't work out to your taste.
