IIRC, there is at least one way to avoid it without getting an early ending. I believe there is a lesbian path walkthrough somewhere in this thread which says how.

That is odd because i tried that lesbian path out and even though i went with whatever Eve wanted, and was humoring her at every stage, the result was the same when meeting William. Only thing i didn't try was getting drunk with whiskey in both occasions but i don't see why that would matter, if you submit to her anyway. I even agreed to go publicly as a lesbian and didn't even take the photos down. I am gonna try to find if there is indeed another path that i missed. And i wouldn't exactly say the game wasn't to my tastes, that's why i am passionate about it after all, or else i wouldn't bother discussing its faults. I was really enjoying the story and i thought it would be really cool if you somehow managed to get to the top, outsmarting everyone with your own strength and wits, without having to compromise yourself.

The walkthrough I mentioned can be found on the first post in the thread. I'm not 100% sure, as it's been a while since I looked at the game, but I believe are other ways to avoid having sex with William as well and still get to the end.

It does make a difference whether you drink whiskey or wine the first date with Eve, although that won't effect William.

I don't know if I agree with that characterization, but the reality is, there are a finite number of routes through the game. If those routes all require choices which are not to your liking, then maybe the game isn't for you. Which is totally fine.

No. I may do another game one day, if / when I find time, but it won't be a sequel.

Please do another game. You can clearly write. My only suggestion would be to try to make the characters less creepy and shady. We don't have enough people making games in the fem protag area.

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say. Unfortunately, I don't see myself doing another one in the foreseeable future. Descent took a massive amount of time, over a 14 month period. I just don't have the time to commit to such a large project.

I'm glad you like it, but no, I have no plans to continue. With the epilogue, the story is complete.

Too bad you have a great idea. Maybe you could sort of make an expansion pack instead on other paths not in the game. I'd love if she became a stripper or hooker.

I've played this game through many times and never gave C to any of the male characters. It can be tough and may require other sacrifices/compromises but it's definitely possible. If I remember right, the main key I found to dodging both King and the Judge and still get a reasonably good ending was to be good at her job. But really if you're playing a game titled Descent because your kink is good endings, I think you might need to reevaluate some choices from outside the game.

Eve is the best! (In a terrible, terrible way.) I think she'd appreciate being highly divisive, though.

Every time I play it, I tend to go with Eve too, though I think partly that's because she's the first potential "partner" to show up, and is the most present. By the time the chance comes to potentially leverage C with the other characters, I already feel like I've leveraged her too much with Eve! Though I do want to try "full" King and Judge routes sometime.

There are quite a lot sex scenes. Depends on how "slutty" the choices are. The male characters are disgusting so avoiding male sex in this game is the best path.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. As for Tony, well, he is kind of weak, for sure. On the other hand, I think he may be the only male character in the story who's not a jerk. He's just kind of weak.
